great!!finally a video i can see everything that i wanted to know...have tried your way of doing it and there's none left!!!!i didn't use the egg wash i topped the mini brioches with a light coating of apricot jam instead....WOW! i mean really WOW!!!!
Great recipe! I am a French teacher and I made them for my class. They turned out wonderful and the kids really enjoyed them. I will definitely make them again. Melissa - how about a "Pain au Chocolat" (chocolate croissant) recipe?
Are they really supposed to be that dark when fully baked? Can I lower the temp if I want to achieve a lighter golden color? What if I omit the eg wash?
I followed your recipe and I must tell you how wonderful this bread came out. It was my first time making brioche even though I make bread all of the time and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Thank you very much.
i'm making my brioche at the moment. IT IS A LONG PROCESS! but i'm glad i'm trying it. I'm actually using the CookWise recipe where it uses crushed ice and 1lb of butter. i'm following her recipe but i'm using your videos for visual instructions :P having no mixer with a paddle/dough attachment is hard on my arm, lol
Thanks, loved your video. This is wonderful! You need a TV show!

i've always avoided bread making because of the rising process and the fear of it not working :(
