eddies' voice is more unique then cornells imo. I prefer eddies' most definitely. It just sounds more clean and pure and beautiful. The way eddie uses that low baritone but can go up the scale too. Eddie was "the voice" of the 90's, forget staley, cobain and anyone else. pearl jam signified the 90's..

all great singers.....i always found weiland sounded more like layne(the core album)...i really don't see how stp was compared to pj.....both great bands but different........but it was a great new sound and everyone was feeding off eachtoher. On pearl jam's song glorified g, theres a part in the bridge where vedder sounds alot like cornell.

Lol no way Eddie vedder and Layne sound the same, Scott on the other hand can sound similar to both, but can make his own sound at the same time and sound phenomenal. Grunge has is the best music hands down so far. At least in my opinion.
