  • Expériences très intéressantes!

je le suis permis de poster une vidéo-commentaire à propos des propriétés piezo du sel de seignette , si vous êtes intéressé.

  • @Zone51 Merci beaucoup... effectivement intéressante cette vidéo

  • Excelente video Gilles!!! Congratulations! Wonderful experiments!

The one at the beginning, with the piezoelectric transducer commonly used in children toys, telephones, etc, with the Joules thief is really inspiring!

Just one doubt: Why using a 2N1711 transistor? (Si NPN 50v 1A hfe300 800mW) a smaller one would work as well. Or was the one you had at hand at the time? Thanks in advance!

  • could you please tell me the song name of the song at 6:00?

  • I love it. Great demonstrations. As you know Piezoelectric materials have Pyroelectricity properties( especially PZTs) but reverse not. Cheers Medi.

  • it seems that heating might use more energy than what the light will output. waste?

  • You should explain at the atomic level what is happening. It is not that complex.
