@ivecadit hey man great gear I just found this very same set here in australia $699 aus shell pack only no hardware it's a six piece kit like new is that a good price?
@brackiechan562 I have just the same question. Maple is louder and it has a darker tone, instead of birch that has more attack, but has less volume. It depends on what do you want the kit for, for example if you want the kit for your home, for practising only, fs is perfect for you. If you have a band and you'll have to mode the kit a lot to make gigs and that stuff, then i'd totally recommend you cx. Hope have helped!
@raokin466 Hey if your interested in these drums, I have the same drums, same color, same everything but I only have one cymbol. There in excellent condition as well. just hit me up and we can negotiate a fair price. Thanks.
you will not find better drums than these at this price range. Cx is all maple baby. Props to you for being cool enough to sell them at a fair price. Keep rockin
Good question, actually I've been quite good at spotting great deals on Craigslist, then sell and trade up. It's a good way to support a drum gear addiction.
@ivecadit I went to craigslist......But theres no deals here in Miami =/ and all Im looking for is a cheap bass drum,Thats it,and no,Ebay,Those people are crazy
@6sic666666 Dude, im in the miami area also and i just picked one up a used one from Guitar center hallandale for a good price. check they're online used store.
Do you think buying a used one of these is worth 400? and if you have any experience with a pearl session custom do you know which one would be better? my main concern is how the bass and the toms sound
Yes, if they're in like new condition or include some good hardware then that's a good deal. If you can check the bearing edges that would help too. Not sure on the pearl drums, I have personally just never liked pearl, but my impression of them is from way back in the 80's. I know they would be a great choice too though. A good bass drum head combination like Evans ensemble with Evans resonant on the front can make most any bass drum sound great.
Is 18"x20" the same as 20"x18"?
