  • its a Del Sol guys and it comes with plenty of other names like crx, vtect, vti, civic and so on.

  • its nice but i would just get out the car and put that in the trunk because that electric one take to long for me

  • So cool I watched it twice.

  • Nice trans-top

  • fail

  • I have a 92' Honda Civic Del Sol S, which looks just like this one. but without the (electric part of the Truck) mines all manual. Either way looks good and neat. which I could add it to mine.

  • damn... you have to be some kind of engineer

  • this is the coolest convertible car ever!

  • how do you fit so much moving parts in that lil trunk!? already mine is tiny enough with the moving trunk

  • @B0YTOYS the del sol is a coupe and has a deceptively large trunk because of it

  • @MeGustaRyan actually it does. different countries got different market names for the same cars.

  • does that come standard on all del sol ?

  • ya its a civic not a CRX. it used to be called the honda civic del sol. but the droped civic and just kept del sol.

  • my friend has a jdm 1994 del sol crx. exact same as this car but made in japan. whoever called this a civic is a knob

  • my friend has a jdm 1994 del sol crx. exact same as this car but made in japan. whoever called this a cicic is a knob

  • Is there a trunk?

  • I'm currently wanting to buy one but on autotrader there are on 27 for sale at the moment :(

  • is this standard i see del sol everywhere on the roads today and wondered why people like them so much i mean...its a honda..so yea is this roof standard on every del sol or what? thanks

  • "Del sol" no civic or CRX, its plain and simple "Del Sol", Does it say on the car anywhere that it is a "Civic" or a "CRX", i dont think it does, there for its a "Del Sol", ONLY! lol Goodness. Prove me wrong if you will, but I highly doubt Honda would name a car, THAT of all things...."Del Sol", thats all.

  • @ShikariScene In US, it was called the Honda Civic del Sol until 1995 they dropped the Civic. So in US, it's called Honda del Sol. EU called it Honda CR-X del Sol until 1995 they dropped the del Sol, so it's called the CR-X.

US= Honda Civic del Sol - Honda del Sol

    EU= Honda CR-X del Sol - CR-X

  • pretty awesome, but it doesn't seem like putting the top in the trunk yourself would be that much of a pain. or take much more time. i dunno maybe im wrong

  • Lol @ SenorVtec it is a very cute car:) im a girl and i own a del sol and a EG:) i<3 jdm

  • I want one on my del sol... thats freakin cool i hate having to put my targa top in my trunk my self! i could have used this when i was pregnant for sure!

  • It's not a Civic. It is CRX DEL SOL

  • now that shit...is cool as fuck!!!!

  • Damn that's fucking cool!! Never seen that before with a DelSol :D

  • no trunk ? :-?

  • this is the trans top though, right? not the targa?

  • Why can i here a woman in a car video =S

  • in the us its Civic Del Sol, in germany its CRX Del Sol

  • laaaamme , nice to have a manuel, its even more lightly

  • Oh, I thought this is the new Tranformers movie. :D

  • i can take mine off way quciker by hand haha this is a joke

  • That whole mechanism looks heavy and prone to failure. screw it.

  • i hate my delsol now wtf i want electric

  • can someone tell me where can i get the same sistem for my car and how much is it

  • Whats the insurance for this car?

  • how much did that cost to do that¿

  • ello m8 do you know how 2 fix the roof cos mine got stuck ?

  • Mine broke a nylon gear in the part above your head in the roll bar. There are a few gears in there that lift the roof so the bars can enter at the right angle. If it is something in there that has broke on yours you can get a kit from Honda to replace all of them, comes with good instructions too. It was about £30 when I got mine.

  • bro dont u knw tha name of ur own ride?

its honda crx del sol not civic

  • bro, I'm in the UK! trust me, its a Civic.

  • my brother had one of these n on the log book it says honda crx del sol. if u want to call it a civic its ok

  • okay I guess you are a youngster cars have different names when they are overseas overseas means not in america if you couldn't tell by the plates it didn't say a state! so remember there is no acura in japan either just honda

  • go ahead and call him a bloody stupid yank! The rest of us wont take offense

  • @bulmiester

Im in the UK too, its a CRX Del Sol, not a civic. In fact, in the USA, its was labelled a Civic Del Sol, while in Japan and Europe, it was labelled CRX Del Sol.

  • @PhantomMaxUser I kep wondering why evreywhere on youtube it said crx del sol. good comment

  • @bulmiester no mate my bro has this car exactly, its a del sol

  • Could you put del sol in the title?

  • @bulmiester nah its still a crx delsol

  • @SuperDOHC It is infact, considered a Civic. An EG to be exact.

  • @sgtdaye no your information is false

  • @SuperDOHC if you look at the title of any del sol it says Civic, not Del Sol.

  • @SuperDOHC He's right, the UK model is called civic crx del sol, i own one, so i can testify to that!!!

  • Do u even Know What CRX stands for???? Civic Renaissance Model X u moron @SuperDOHC

  • @SuperDOHC

hay dumbass dont u knw a crx is a civic

  • @SuperDOHC were im from its called honda civic crx del sol

  • @SuperDOHC true

  • @SuperDOHC

bro dont u knw tha concept of international market variation?

  • @0v3rd0seh I do and it is a crx del sol in the UK as 1. I live here and 2. I have one

  • @fairygodbrother - I'm not doubting that, I'm just mocking the way he talks :)

  • @fairygodbrother Did you really miss the point in my comment that badly?

  • Comment removed

  • @SuperDOHC actually it's fully called the civic cr-x del sol

  • @SuperDOHC crx's are civics.

  • @SuperDOHC and you know CRX stands for civic rebirth experiment

  • why is there a square tailight?...it looks kool

  • edm rear foglight

  • ohh..thanks...it gives the del sol a cool look...i kinda like offset stuff...like no everything is symetrical or centered

  • I like your comment...it shows jelousy and envy...

I'm so glad i have one of these and is unique to Honda and to only the Delsol.

No other car in the world has a unique system!

    Love it!

  • jesus is that stock non-usdm ? that is badass

  • :O sweet

  • can we in the US get a motor for the roof like the jdm or ero delsol got? if so can some one plz help me out to were to find or look one up!

  • No you cant. Not available in US.

You must do a conversion which means finding an original, learning to graft it on to your existing delsol and fault finding if there is any faults.

A pain and expensive for the market value of the car. But then again the uniqueness and low running costs (no depreciation) and extremely long running life and reliability of the engines makes these cars a bargain to own even if you inject a large amount of $ in proportion to its market value.

  • which del sols have electric roof?

    all esi?

  • UK and japan only got these electric roof i know a guy who imported one from japan

  • the USDM Si wasn't an EG6.. EG6 only pertains to the SiR equipped with the B16A in Japan..

  • the civic si eg6 usdm spec on has 125 hp and while the civic sir eg6 has 160 hp.

  • Kinda like us not having a real EK of any sort here, as far as 96-00 Hatches go.. they're all EJs.. only JDM 96-00 hatches were EKs, Ek4 for the SiR and EK9 for the CTR

  • The US did not get that option.

  • too much weight for a car with a mouse on a wheel under the hood

  • del sols weigh 2910 stock. dumbass. where as an eclipse wieghs 3718 lbs. real heavy huh?

  • damn, i only got the manuel one lol

  • ok dats cool but dont u people think takes a while say it was rainin heavy as and u needed to shut the roof cause of the cd player but after minutes later LOL.just get the fuck out and do it urself lazy ass

  • This is a 95 model and the boot opens the same way when you put your key in. Get lots of looks at the supermarket! lol

  • oh shit is that coustom??

  • Nope stock UKDM/JDM

  • Not stock. It was an option initially in UK then became stock.

In japan it was option only.

I know as i have one and have seen others thats an SIR (top of the range) with no power roof.

  • wow thats...actually pretty cool lol never thought id end up saying that about honda

  • pretty cool

  • owned lol

  • wow in north america thats a delsol and crx was only from 86-91

  • 84-91

  • i love that option

  • damn fucking awesome

  • I wish my Del Sol had this when it started to rain. Also great on summer days, boy the top gets hot.

  • damn thats one sick del sol

  • Do you open the trunk in the same way? Thanks!

  • How much does that upgrade cost?and how many cylinder is that honda del sol???

  • alllllll civics are 4 cylinders

  • not true

some late 90's accords have 6 cylinders

  • yes. but all CIVICS are 4 cylinder. dumbass

  • stfu noob

  • .....?

  • it didn't blow up

haha your a failure to the human race

  • thats your arguement... hahaha XD you faggot fucker

  • thats fucking crazy lol

  • UP not RIGHT :P

  • DUDE!!! i wantta do that to my mr2 LOL

  • How much does that upgrade cost?

  • why didn't the U.S. DelSol come with that! LOL that's tight....

  • because, japan screws us out of everything that make Hondas that much cooler, like the power folding mirrors in EF CRXs and glass roofs.

  • hoosiercub you also forgot those idiots never imported the civic type r to america and canada

  • Yup and robbed us of the extremely prevalent B16/18 equipped vehicles that are/were all over the place there since 1988..

  • can do it riding??

  • many memories in this car... still one of the best

    Memories for my college days...

  • it takes less time and money to do it manually. some ppl are so damn lazy these days. haha. its cool tho i guess :/

  • i can't imagine they had the hard top convertible in the 90s!!

  • has any1 had any problems with there electric Roofs?

  • No problems with mine. The guy who had it before me replaced the tilter cogs which is the most common problem.

  • i want to do that to my delsol!! where do I get one??

  • thats awesome, I've always wondered how an electric roof would work on a del sol.

  • o shit....that's pretty handy for roof storage

  • it's a honda civic del sol

  • lmao thats a Del Sol notta civic

  • different markets used different names. Civic del Sol is the US name until 95. then it was just del Sol. outside US its the CR-X del Sol

  • yes, i know it as crx del sol too

  • wow so long

  • that is kool
