  • I tried this with a 4.5lb bass. Im not at all good as it took me about 10 min to do both sides and it was still crap compared to this example. Looks easier than it is.

  • Nice. I tried to do this tonight. Took about 5 minutes and the second fillet went horribly wrong. It seemed to have pin bones in it and I didn't even think a Bass had pin bones?? What did I do wrong?

  • you'll see we cut that corner out at the last minute? That was those bones! Keep practising!

  • i should post my way. its a lot faster. can do about 5 black rockfish a minute. after about 10,000 you really get the hang of it lol

    rainbow trout or mackerel yeah but seabass woah barin in mind iv only bin doin this for lik a year you prob one this for a fair amonut of years to have skill lik tat

  • i think when u take the gut cavity and bone after you take half the flesh with it. I find it much more prductive to easy the knife on the 'lie of the bone' and then your only left with a few down the centre which can be taken out easy enough. Just my comment
