Nice. I tried to do this tonight. Took about 5 minutes and the second fillet went horribly wrong. It seemed to have pin bones in it and I didn't even think a Bass had pin bones?? What did I do wrong?
wwefishingfan, at start he clearly says sea bass, and being a fisherman myself for 17 years il tell you its a bass mate, a small 1 but will still taste pukka with a bit of lemon & chips, nice job
Bet you love Bass bones and skin with ginger and spring onion then. Oh, and don't forget the eyes. Make a great 'Necklace Mariniere' with that one ya plumb.

i think when u take the gut cavity and bone after you take half the flesh with it. I find it much more prductive to easy the knife on the 'lie of the bone' and then your only left with a few down the centre which can be taken out easy enough. Just my comment

i should post my way. its a lot faster. can do about 5 black rockfish a minute. after about 10,000 you really get the hang of it lol
