In my Opinion, I Think that HD-DVD is great, however, without Blu-Ray. It would be HD-DVD. Because of battle between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, Blu-Ray rocks cause the capacity of Blu-Ray is much Higher than HD-DVD. no doubt for that, am I right?. my second reason is Blu-Ray Comes from SONY. of course, SONY has a large amount of Technology. That what I thought?

blu ray isnt just about movies, its about games too...in futre you can have bigger and btter games becasue they can fit on to a blu ray disc unlike a normal DVD like the 360.

GTA4 was trimmed down because it wouldnt fit on a dual layer DVD and they of course had to make both versions exact the same on both consoles so the ps3 version suffered unecessarily. so what have they done with the trimmed content? they made it available as an exclusive download for the 360.

Good for Sony they own the new format!!! But what will happen to those who have HD DVD? I heard Toshiba will lose hunderds of millions of dollars...WOW. The salesman won't pick a side because they'll be left with a load of units he can't sell. The PS3 has started to outsell the 360 because it's the cheapest and best BD player, however, nobody is playing PS3 games as it appears they are continuing to sell like ice cubes in the antarctic. Maybe because I don't yet own any HD format that I can see the massive shafting that EVERYONE is getting.

In case you've forgotten, HD-DVD are the only camp to have been confirmed to pay off a studio for exclusivity, and massive sales at huge losses to Toshiba of the hardware. Pretty much the best Blu-Ray player on the market is the PS3, because of its future proof upgradability. Lowering the price of the PS3 is in no way a bad thing. Besides, I've never had a load time higher than 10 seconds on it.

Plus, both formats support the same codecs. It's down to the movie studios which ones they use.

Yea, you all think that Sony bribed WB to go BD exclusive and yet, I'd say you probably praise Toshy and M$ for bribing Para. Well I tell you what, bribing is only the first sign of weakness in a company and when Toshy realised that HD DVD was losing, they got out their checkbook and tried to confuse the market even further. BD had a fair fight and didn't try to cheat their way to victory like HD DVD did. Never trust the cheaters. HD has lost, BD has won, deal with it.
