  • New album out April 11th!!!!

  • yes and yes again

  • What helps it sound "Stereolabish" actually...is that Mary Hansen is singing with Sean on here. Miss her.... : (

  • great share, sounds similar to the Weepies, w/o the singing bubble effect!!! very soothing. ;.)

  • beach boys?

  • Not sure if I agree with you. Maybe "Tuesday Afternoon". High Llamas are much more advanced musician's. They write clever melodic lines and excellent rhythmic patterns...Moody Blues aren't nearly as talented. Barf

  • @vortexion These guys are too Brian Wilson-lite to be in the league of classics like the Moodies, who at least had their own sound (and a sense of dynamics, yeesh). I suppose they are a bit too sincere for a lot of people these days though.

  • @vortexion Listen to the live version or the album version of 'Are you sitting comfortably' by The Moody Blues. Not a massive Moody Blues fan myself and I love the High Llamas but nobody can touch that song.

  • Hmm, kinda reminds me of Moody Blues

  • fantastic music, pretty crappy video though

  • wonderful keltbrat. bet you could make a better video. me prick is in your gee.

  • ARGH!! YOUR HURTING ME GEE!!!!

  • Nomads!!! Get a hold of yourselves......

  • great band..awesome arrangements!

  • Love this song. Great video.

  • nice video - dont like the song though

  • the high llamas es lo masssssss!!!!!

  • try 'Gideon Gaye'

  • Damn, that's great. Too bad there isn't many more stuff by the around here. Can anyone upload a live video? That would be awesome!

  • Love them so much.

    Greetings from Zagreb, Croatia! :-)

Btw...is there a video for Janet Jangle?

  • I just love this type of music:=) Anybody who knows about other bands similiar to High Llamas, please, give me a mail:=)

  • Just listen to Stereolab. Then Francoise Hardy, the Beatles (pre-1967) and the Beach Boys. Also Tortoise...but they do get into a Minimalsit thing which I love but some don't like.

  • steely dan, smile era beach boys, stereolab, acetone, american analog set, magnetic fields

  • i would say more "wild honey" and "friends" era beach boys, and also the aluminum group were the only other major bands i could think of.

  • love high llamas, microdisney... best pop

  • This reminds me of being about 16 and seeing them in Portsmouth supporting Super Furry Animals - Really good!

  • great song i love it

  • they are so underrated! love 'em so much, too! is there any video for 'painters paint' or 'cookie bay'? sean is such a genius.

  • Thanks for posting this. I always thought this was an amazingly beautiful song up there with the best of Lennon-McCartney and Brian Wilson. I mean, if you listen it's Tom Ze-Steely Dan-Stereolab in pop music perfection.

  • ive seen it

    a real flashback

    not a slip

    a real trip

    thank you for sharing

    not lo lo london

    but pgtrips

  • thanks for this...I loved the Llamas so much...
