haha I just noticed that Beauty is Aunt Nina from "Raise Your Voice." She became a better actress, at least! But in spite of that bad acting, I love this. Especially the Beast. poor guy =(

@CatieCass u know she not that bad of a singer in fact she has a beautiful voice she just needs to learn to carry on the last note a bit longer when neccesary. Although I'm surprised the director wasn't bothered by that and had her rpeat it. unless that is how it was written.

@SwineBrothers It's not the point that it's a rose. Thievery back then, whether it be a flower, or a piece of silver, or a book was punishable by death in certain areas. Other areas, doesn't matter what the object is, hands or fingers were removed as punishment.

I love the actor who played the father in this film version, Yossi Graber. :D This is my favourite film version of the story of "Beauty and the Beast" although I do love the more graphic film "Meridian". :D

@loudrgfan It was on one of my local channels a year or so ago. Basically he says "I go home [empty handed?]". Then he makes his way back, but gets caught in a sandstorm and spots the castle, and that's where part 3 starts at.

Ahhhh John Savage as the Beast.

The only other actor out of 2 who played PERFECT Beasts! Ron Pearlmon woz the other! The Beast makeup was very alike also. They both looked like Lions which i loved <3

This is my favourite part in the movie, reason being bcoz as a kid i wud run behind the sofa wen the Beast caught Beauty's Dad taking the Rose! JESUS his roar wud giv me such a fright. Gav my family sumthin 2 laugh about tho haha They still tease me about it till this day!
