  • We used to drive up and down this all the time in the winter from Coeur d'Alene to visit the grandparents who lived in Lewiston - we could always tell when we were going down the grade from the smell of the Potlatch plant in Lewiston - the entire valley smelled of that plant! Smelled like wood burned with sulphur. Nasty! We did this in a 1951 Cadillac - and those guiderails are the same ones that were there in the late 50's. Thanks for a great revisit to a memory. • I just rode it a week ago...

great video thanks for filming it....

but omg.... shift for fuck sakes lol

  • @84KWH33L74N60 Ha Ha, that is what I was thinking to, shift man!!!!

  • @84KWH33L74N60 What, I got 15000 RPM to use and by golly, I'm going to use all of it before shifting, LOL Love those japanese motors.

  • What kind of bike are you on in this video? Sounds like you're running it at 10,000rpms the whole time.

  • I'm on a Suzuki GSX-R600 and yes, I was probably near 10K rpms the whole time, lol. I really like engine braking and need all the torque I can get out of that little 600 (only about 50 ft-lbs or something). Sorry, if it's too whiny, haha. Awesome road.

  • @jayanth325 Were you in first gear the whole time? :)

  • @jayanth325 what year?! my 2006 sounds nothing like that
