  • Put in some soundprocessing, all above signals above 4.5 Kc you have to filter, or make a 5 kc audifilter between you amplifier an TX otherwise you signal is much wide on the band and splatters

  • does this radio have FM 88-108 Mhz band ?

  • @georgestelea nope.avi

  • The transmiter is FM or AM?

Can I replace the "audio connector" by a microphone?

  • The output from 555 is a pseudo PWM/FM modulation, but it can be somwhat heard on a AM radio aswell. It generates a lot of harmonic frequencies. If you used my scheme, tune your radio somewhere near 1-3MHz AM, with a 1 meter long wire as the transmit antenna, the signal can be heard up to 20m away from it, but it's good only for speech broadcast (the music quality is awful).

If you have a FM receiver that operates in the 1-5MHz frequency range you can try that, how it sounds ;-)

  • Also for the microphone, you could. But if the sound would be too quiet, try to use a capacitor (=amplified) or carbon microphone instead of the electret one... Good luck.

  • my friend can you send me the diagram for to make an radio transmitter using NE555?
