I saw this band at the Red Roof Inn in Tacoma.. Small club and it was fucking awesome! Afterwards, Jake and the guys hung out and graciously chatted with fans. A cool show I'll never forget.
There is a ton of stuff that Jake recorded and will never be released. Too bad, there are some really great tracks...and they sit in the recording studio vault. And until Jake pays his studio bills, they will never see the light of day.
This is cool shit, kinda sounds like Lemme if he rested his voice for a couple weeks, and nice de-tuned playing by Jake(D,C#?lower?). Interesting tune and also the fact Mandy showed up on Lynche's "Sacred Groove" a little later. Thanks for posting, think I'll stay in my mid-life crisis craving this era of music for awhile longer......Body is 45 but mind is still 25 and regressing....
Hey don't know if you know Jim Warino, but back in the day I used to work at a print shop and I actually printed the cassette covers for this 4 song demo. My copy is now warped so this is great to hear these again, Good Job!!
Legendary music artists The Beast Mandy Lion-vocals (WWIII) and da Oge Jake E. Lee-guitars (Badlands & former Ozzy Osbourne) are a mighty Dual force. Great Classic haunting song "The Rust" from their WICKED ALLIANCE days! Would be cool to see them do more music projects together.
Learn English Rockczar "...you obviously dont know nothin..."about music, Jake based his style off Hendrix ,and Page... this is a sad, mutated abombination of the music he loved. O, and Mandy Lion sounds exactly like any other grunge metal singer...like hes constipated and cant stand the pain.
hahahaha you people are tools you obviously dont know nuthin bout who mandy lion is.... i also doubt very much youd be sayin the same things about the sound of lemmy kilmister's voice...mandy is legend in the underground... a true innovator
Jake I like metal, but this is absolute trash, You were and are still my favorite guitarist, but "Wicked Alliance" was a major disapointment for me. One thing i leared from this is to never sell out, Once Nirvana came in and destroyed rock and metal you didnt have to turn to this sad excuse for music, Ive heared "Voodoo Highway" and your blues stuff kicks ass, i dont see why you would pick this crap over it or hair metal(other than for money). May your music and soul rest in peace with Badlands.
I saw these guys in Richmond Ky. at a really small club. They Rocked the Joint! I met Jake after the show and he was super cool. Mandy Lion kinda freaked me out, very grunjy vocalist.
Holy Crap, I was at that Morgantown show as well!! 123 Pleasant st. was actually The Nyabinghi Dance Hall at the time, 3-24-94 to be exact. I remember jake going off on some dude because the D*ichead threw a beer bottle at his stuff. They didnt play Thank God for the bomb, but they did play The Ultimate Sin. That show turned me onto Mandy Lion. Great band
LOL I remember seeing WA in Morgantown WV @ 123 Pleasant st years ago. killer show , someone dickhead threw a bottle onto stage and Jake went ballistic. he did some yelling and threatening and then they broke out into Thank God For The Bomb. thanks 4 the vid.
I dont like the comment that "vegasoozie" wrote, we are all entitled to our opinions, but not to insults. This song is great, guitar wise and lyric wise.

I like this. The guitar and lyrics are good...Jake's talent shines through here and Mandy's vocal style suits the music in general.
Shame Wicked Alliance didn't have an album.

This demo f'n rules! Wicked Alliance live was THE SHIT! This could've been one hell of an album had Jake and Mandy ever completed it.
