I couldn't agree with you more...I recall reading an article years ago in Rolling Stone that essentially asserted that it was The Cult that ushered in the true "Alternative Rock" genre far before the Nirvana, etc. It's just they never received the acclaim for it. (And obviously they weren't referring to what is now watered down homogenized poppy sounding crap that people call "Alternative Rock"...)

hey 6stringMoFo...That sounds awesome. Your tone sounds really close. The Cult is my favorite band since 1987 and I have seen them live 7Xs. I just started playing and I am trying to learn this song. Can you tell me what chord this is. Your version seems more complex. It seems to me that Duffy keeps the same chord and uses an upstroke and then 3 downstrokes, but I dont know what chord? CAn you tell me? You sound really good!
