It still angers me to think how long it had been there before some dickhead 'traveller' (reads: unwashed pikey in a van) smashed one of the stones with his vehicle. Such a special place, and one I have visited countless times.

Ah, Nine ladies, I have spent many a Beltane up there. I remember one particular time, I awoke really early, about dawn. I was worse for wear to be honest. I woke half in and half out of my tent, to a strange sound of bells and wood hitting wood. Staggering to my feet, I was confronted by morris men bouncing about in the middle of the stone circle, thier legs obscured by a low lying mist. I did wonder what was in the home made ciggies I was smoking the night before! ;)
