my english is poor, i wil sai, does the motor can give a sufisantly load to support short circuit and so still running?

  • Now thats what i call nice light! keep up the good work!

  • what type of enging is that?? and where can i buy somthing like it?

  • What type of stirling engine it is?

    Alpha? Beta? Thermoacoustic?

  • Super bright, for that little stirling!

  • That little HOG is one amazing engine, Im off to do a search for one of those

  • I would have never expected the HOG stirling to have enough power to run a dynamo! Great job.

  • It is a wonderful, precision, little machine.

It needs no oil or maintenance, and just runs better the more it is used.

I'm glad I got it from you at the Great Toy Steam Company.

This was my first toy engine of more to come.

    Thanks Doug!

  • This $3 toy motor comes from KidWind (google)

It is a former cassette player capstan motor.

Used as a dynamo, its winding characteristic

offers: relatively high voltage at very low shaft speed.

It will not produce much current,

but it makes a very easy drive for a micro stirling engine.

When I set it up better I will learn just what it will power in the way of LED lamps and other such power-thrifty loads.
