Night Court's final season or 2 weren't that funny but those middle seasons starting back when Markie Post arrived and Dan started behaving more perverted were some of the most hilarious zaniest episodes you'd ever wanna see on a major network. The only network tv show that MIGHT'VE been crazier was "Soap".

This episode came up in an interview with Larroquette on the old "Later, with Bob Costas" show back in the late 80's/early 90s. Supposedly, while Hatcher was of course not actually naked under the coat, she was, in John's words "being quite a sport" with what she *was* wearing.

And I didn't have a fire hose nearby at the time. Dammit!

Everyone: PLEASE buy the DVDs of this show!!! So far only seasons 1-3 (out of 9) are on DVD and they won't release more if the DVDs don't sell better. This is the funniest show ever and it should be all on dvd. So GO BUY IT. Buy it for yourself if you haven't already and then buy it as a gift for others but just BUY IT!!!

The best funniest scenes in Night Court History. Dan (John Larroquette) was always my favourite, and Teri Hatcher was such a crush of mine as a young kid. It's a testament to John Larroquette and his skills as a comedic performer that he could make the character of Dan Fielding (who was let's face it people, is a sleaze bag with few morals) so damn funny and likeable.

Not surprisingly why this man won himself four consectutive Emmy's for his outstanding work on "Night Court".....

That was the beauty part of the show, it didn't take itself too serious, and every episode bordered the absurd, which was the point. The great thing about Night Court was that anything and everything could happen, from Wil E. Coyote being sentenced to Harry Stone trying to put a grocho marx nose and glasses on the statue of liberty. Great stuff. Theater of the absurd at it's best in TV form. Nothing like it, now or ever!!!
