Sadly, this guy went bust. Note the easy credit with an extra 10K thrown in hassle-free -- the banks were milking their loans and repackaging them as CDOs for the upcoming 2008-9 bubble crash -- just about when this guy folded -- He tried to get too big too fast and didn't anticipate any ups and downs, let alone the bankster-enginered economic collapse. Instead of growing slowly but steadily, he went for the razzle-dazzle of the big-dream, soonest. These vids are probably an embarrassment now.
We almost bought our stretch from Legendary. We are based right by them, but after meeting with them in August and noticing they are a ghost when it comes to the LCT Magazine and Limo Digest we decided against having them build our 08 Escalade ESV. Legendary seemed really set on building the vehicle the way they wanted to, & they could not provide me with references of limos they built in FL. We went with Royal Coach based out of Anaheim CA, and we have been extremely pleased with our stretch.
All newbies to the industry take note: minimize startup risk by buying from one of the big guys, Krystal, ECB, DaBryan, Federal, Etc.
Avoid the temptation on your first few cars to go for the 'flash', which will end up costing you much more than you could have anticipated in terms of warranty claims that will never get covered, poor workmanship, terrible resale value, etc. The company highlighted in this video went bust 7 months after the car was bought.
Both of you are 100% correct. Our more successful cars are the ones that are more standard. Yes this company went out of business after we purchased this car. Hindsight is 20/20.
And by the way -- Although he ordered Chrome wheels, the car was delivered with steel alloy, which the company never made good on. In adition, he had numerous warranty claims the company never settled. A real disadvantage in dealing with a dealer located several states or cross-country away.
Bet you regret going with Legendary now! Now there no longer in business....you HAVE to go with a big coachbuilder in this business. Krystal, Executive, DaBryan not there BS builders like Pinnacle, Legendary, Royal Coach by Victor. Yes, no doubt it looks impressive but you'll be burning an alternator a week! Those vehicles can not with hold that ammount of power.
