@TheOneLifer I was going to try to work in a tattoo studio once, but it turned out that most of them will expect you to pay them a bunch of money and work for free cleaning the toilets and shit like that while they train you. I have just never been in a possition to pay someone else to let me work for them even if I wanted to.

I may post some of my line art and such on my website one day as flash art for people to use for tatoos though.

But now I get alot of inspiration by mood and of what happens in life.

I make grusome pictures due to never seeing my dad since i was a baby or something sad happens in my life. Also I might draw myth-like creatures just due to a little walk in the forest. But I would of never would be able to use this gift if it weren't for you.

Creating art is a quality I haven't got. I always wondered what could be the brain difference between

an individual with this feature and me. The most likely is, as with

music, it were a function of the right brain hemisphere. I tend to work

more with the pure logic, but this does not mean that I cannot appreciate its beauty...

I pretty much believed the brain hemisphere theory. I am able to learn and portray myself fairly well through nearly any medium of art I try, but I have virtually no business sense. I can make art, but can't even begin to understand how to market it. I guess that is why many people see it as somewhat of a waste of time. I find myself despising our financial system more then I do trying to benefit from it. I guess that is the flaw of spending my time in my fantasy world.

I don't agree with the people who think art is a waste of time. This is a sencence for a square

mind, who cannot appreciate what they cannot understand. Art is the pure expression of imagination,

and imagination is useful, not only beautiful. Inventions, revolutionary scientific theories... all

of this requires imagination. The best would be having both of the hemispheres high developed, as

both of them are neccesary. DaVinci was a good example of this.

That is the only version of this I made. I have done art in other mediums such as oil painting, but nothing worth sharing.

I took a drawing class at a community college, and I was told that I "do it wrong". I like to use soft, dark pencils. I used something like 8B most of the time. I try to never make hard lines for the edges of things. I smudge the graphite with a tissue to smooth the detail, then highlight with a kneaded eraser. I spend a lot of time smudging and highlighting.

I personally think tribal style tattoos are good in the sense that when time goes by and a person's preferences or views on life change they tend to seem more contemporary and not as dated, if that makes sense. For instance, someone with a KISS tattoo now might have wished they had gotten a simple design instead (not to knock anyone's tattoos, just the first familiar example that came to mind). It is a individual expression though. I also really like Celtic designs.

Tattoos are very much a personal expression. I would recommend looking at a bunch of different flash art. Chances are you will pretty much know what you want when you see it. Just take your time searching, it shouldn't be an impulse buying venture.

I took a few college classes for drawing and painting, but they basically told me I do it the wrong way. I couldn't break my habits of shading the graphite by smudging it that I had learned on my own when I was a kid. So pretty much all that the classes taught me is that I was not interested in doing art in a traditional manor, haha.
