On Sept 12, 2011, I had a cardiac arrest and was put on a ventilator until 9/14 in the afternoon. I do not remember any of the events leading up to the cardiac arrest....after I woke up, I was told what a miracle I was, and was not expected to survive. This is the song that got me through my hospital stay and continues to minister to my weak heart. Praise God, we all can believe in a hill called Mt. Calvary.

I'm kinda tired of this whole "don't judge" thing some believers think is part of the Bible. Stop lifting a verse to suit your needs. Take the Bible as a whole. The Bible clearly tells us to judge multiple times. Try the spirits, Judge righteous judgement... Never forget where we came from, but don't let it be an excuse to brush a sin under the carpet.

Gaither knows how to surround himself with God-Gifted singers, whether Phelps, Pierce, Lowry....Penrod...doesn't matter. God gave Bill a gift for finding amazing voices. I'm a minister's kid and grew up hearing Gaither's kids' tunes ("I wonder how it felt...to wake up in the belly of a whale?"). That stuff. So, I'm classically trained and thinkin' about how I used to hear "negative constructive critique" at all my playing exams.ps: Mr. Luciano P. was God-Blessed with power AND clarity. Bello!!!

Maybe he was nervousm,I gave a cd where they sing this and Jonathan does a great job,stop comparing one singer against another,but since its a topic,there are songs that have been done that i prefer Jonathan's or wes version of it,there are songs where i like Marshall Halls way of singing it.You wouldn't listen if everybody sang it the same way,they each have their on style,Go listen to the cds jonathan put out and they tell me he can't sing,he is very verstile with his music

He and Phelps are AMAZING. Guy raises the hairs on the back of my neck. Mark has a powerful tenor and Bill's just Bill--he has a very cool range. I <3 this tune and I think it's a fave.

Phelps best performances are with GVB in my opinion.
