I came back to this album recently, and decided hit is my favorite song off the album. Awesome shit. Love the desperation in Keith's voice through the whole song.
Keith is an amazing singer, and the rest of the band are awesome musicians. every time i die is one of the few bands that I really feel emotion blasting out of the speakers rather than just music, you know :D
@JulyArises so true man, ive been saying for years that keith buckley (while not everybodies cup of tea) will go down in musical history as one of the greatest lyricisists the human race has ever seen. he speaks his mind but at the same time finds a way to be very poetic about it. as apposed to this bullshit music being shoved down kids throats these days e.g. lil wayne, justic bieber, ect.
@krich451 Yeah, that's what I love with hardcore/metal (and it various sub-genres etc etc) bands, that their music is made from scratch and they've bust their asses off to make an album. Not like these "pop stars" like Brittney Spears, Rihanna etc, that get "their" songs handed to them. It really pisses me off that these stars get so much attetion for just being able to sing (you cant deny that some of them actually can do that) and these amazing bands (like etid) dont get that kind of attention
@JulyArises I know exactly what you mean. They're mad. There's such a raw passion and emotion in their music, and it's fucking awesome. The message in this song, especially.
