If you need any help getting your video exposed check out this site called tubeviews . net It has really done wonders for me, I have build 3 channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on now.

if you shoot the picture in raw form and black and white, you can add color in later with a program like photoshop.

The shot of the 3" screen is from the 50D!! as it has the dial and little joystick! I have both the 500D and 50D both are great cameras...

I'm waiting for the 60D/7D to come out later this year.
The 500D looks nice, but for the price tag, I'd rather pay a few extra hundred dollars and get a MUCH better camera.
