Ugh I am 17...I feel exactly the same way. I hate most of the crap music of today. The music in it sucks...the lyrics arent good at all....its like all the talent is gone. My favorite band is Bon Jovi...nobody likes that band....yet they had number 1 tour last year in the world. the vocal chords are not actually chords, well anyway when you do the falsetto voice you're forcing you're throat to get to the note, when you talk about head voice the airflow come directly from your stomach and you don't make to much effor to sing, I know in words it doesn't sound very clear but when you sing in falsetto and in head voice you can feel the difference

touch your chest when you sing normally. it constantly vibrates. when you sing with head voice, however, you'll feel that there is no long this vibration on your chest. you can feel the sound going up from your chest to your head when this happens. it feels funny lol

I must admit.... the first time I heard Adam Lambert on American Idol.....even tho he most resembles a modernday Elvis...his voice when hitting the high notes and carrying them sssso long....totally took me back into my late 80s days....when Sabastian Bach, Mark Slaughter and here lead singer of Steelheart.... were my most FAVORITE voices to listen to.
