@eartianwerewolf Yes he is. In the earliest episodes he was a minor character often in the background, but sometimes with stories that featured him a bit more (Like Beneath these streets). He became very popular with the kids so in later series he was more of a main character - until (as usual) it was overkill and the whole show changed to 'slimer and the real ghostbusters.' From this point he became an annoying green shit rather than an amusing background character.
I'm hearing a lot of recycled Star Trek (original series) sounds in this show I never noticed as a child. Example, the "Collision warning" alarm (klaxon).. is it me, or is that the same sound as the old "Red Alert"?
@CleanerUnit666 No, it's not because of the season like someone else claims. The intro is different because this is from the DVD set. The distribution company would have to pay Ray Parker Jr. a fortune in royalties if they included the original intro for every episode, so they modified it with this cheaper imitation.

Splee, Bismarck guest stars in ghostbusters. This proves I was right: Bismarck is the 3rd most famous ship in the world.

I Have a weird question: how come the intro sounds different & does not have the guy singing?
also the animation seems a little better from what i remember this looks more anime like which is a nice touch :)
