get a Milwaukee angle grinder there the best in my opinion my uncle has a welding shop and he uses a Milwaukee grinder everyday he has 2 of the one is new and the other is 10 years old! and to be used everyday that's a good while! good video and happy new year!
I have that exact same rafter square and there a couple of real good advantages, one like you already noted it won't melt as easy as a plastic one, the other is the fact that it does not stick to your work magnets
get a dewalt grinder we have one and it gets used about everyday and we have had it for 4 or 5 years now and it may coast more but it lasts longer than any other grinder
@ChuckE2009 im only 13 and im out in our shop alot and ours is abused it never quits working im learning to weld already couse we live on a farm here in iowa and it couldent be better with that thing and our miller welder

Those DeWalts are sweet Jeremy, thats what my school buys. People beat the crap outta those things and they just keep takin' it.
