I saw this movie for the first time only recently and I was amazed at how dark it was and I still cant figure out how it managed a G rating. That being said I really enjoyed this movie. It is so much better than most of the kids stuff these days which is all sugarcoated. Great vid 5 stars!!!
@schnips074 This is making me pray to the heavens that a teenage babysitter will forcefully show a modern child movies like this so they'll mature at a lightning-fast rate with tons of bravery and confidence!
@ShifterMax they are not clones , but inbred like hell so that makes them genetically identical . Done to reduce variables . But doesnt apply to the movie ,since "wild" rats were used for experiments
@ShifterMax The lab rats may be too inbred to use... or the intelligence treatment relies on experiences and development that a rat raised in captivity wouldn't have.
Actually, resellers who buy strays from animal control also sell to labs, legal in some US states. It all depends on what the experiment requires - example, product testing. Resellers are cheaper. It's sick, most animal testing is unnecessary and the whistleblower laws do not protect the animals who are being abused or neglected in laboratories, so something needs to change, but people always say there is something more important to fix, so it falls by the wayside.
@ShifterMax NIMH stands for National Institute of Mental Health. They were testing behavioral drugs on lab rats.. Clearly the drugs worked if the rats escape and start a society of their own xD
@kataratophsuki Oh, come on... Kids like to be scared. Or why do they always want to go in the Carnival's horror ride, hang out in Halloween... Or watch ICarly!
Yes, but until recently, MGM has been coinciding with Disney(hence MGM Studios park in Disney World), so MANY consider it Disney. Still, you ARE right, I am just pointing it out.
Great video, but it made the movie look REAL scary! (To be honest, I thought it was going to be a little children's thingy. I didn't know there would be rats stabbing eachother in the backs!) But, like I said, great video!
That reminds me childhood. You know that Secret of NIMH is still my favorit movie. That's realy hard to do movie for kids which you can ejoy as adult as well. Anyway awesome AMV.
Wow... this is REALLY good. I've loved the movie since I was a kid, and I've liked that song pretty well since it came out, and it goes together really perfectly with the clips. Good job. :)
Ah, I don't like how they portrayed Jenner in the movie, but I love how they animated Justin and Brutus (even though Brutus' was really off character). The book pwned in every way, but I'm loving this compilation. It brings back memories *sniffle*
Hi ShifterMax thanks for the suggestion :) but I have to admit even though Iam 19 I still can't watch " Watership down " . It was the stuff of most of my childhood nightmares . That was another animated film that was really bloodthirsty .
You should read the book, the stuff in the movie makes a whole bunch more sense. /3 I dunno, I still like Watership Down. Damn you, Britsh Authors! D8
I remember watching this film as a kid and loving it but being shocked at the violence and blood in it . I was so used to watching Disney movies which are brilliant and timeless classics but they sugarcoat the villains demise . This was the first time I'd ever seen an animated movie that showed everything ... wicked movie though ! :)
Wow, I guess we might be aware that the stuff that today's kids will grow up with will cause them to be constantly held back in school until they would posssibly end up aging out.
I think you should set your next video to "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake, featuring Jenner and Justin. (No, I don't have a creepy crush on...oh wait, yes I do.0

it would compromise their research. All lab rats are related, almost clones in level of genetic closeness. (yes that was a technical term thar x3 )
