  • Why does he have two microphones?

  • Maynard in his prime, love it!

  • The person that disliked this is probably dead now.

  • Justin Bieber disliked this video...KILL HIM!

  • who the fuck disliked!!!

  • Must there be a fucking Justin Bieber comment at every video I watch...

  • i would like to find the 1 guy that disliked this, and punch him in the face.

  • Their Music Is Too Much For A Human To Comprehend...

  • I was about a year when this consert was held, but from looking at these videos, Pomona looked like one of the best tool conserts to date.

  • daveh0ndoras thank you for uploading these. Awesome to see these guys in action. cheers!

  • Im french and I was only 1 when this video was taken, but i'm listening to this now, and all I have to say is that they're just AMAZING.

  • Danny Carey is just the greatest drummer ever. If you don't believe me look up the song Ticks and Leeches

  • @jtcolts72 I think any Tool fan knows Ticks and Leeches. He's got better.

  • hey take a look at my vocal cover of this song!! cheers

  • pomona for me was one of the best shows ever so raw so pure so goddamn awesome !!!

  • holy shit

  • Also at about 4:25 Adam shoots a grin lol

  • I wish I could have attended this "worst show of the tour"

  • hawwww.Danny man. Had to watch you 3 times in this.

  • Justins musicman was very bright lol

  • @samkev84 that's paul not justin.. yeah bright tone though

  • @genebrady actually its justin. Paul was let go during the recording of aenima. Justin wrote the bass line and won an award for it so..

  • @M3GTR oh yeah.. but if paul was let go during recording doesn't that mean he wrote the bass part?

  • @genebrady you can check out who got credit for writing the music on wikipedia.. Although Paul did write most Aenima, Justin still did this and a few other tracks.

  • @genebrady Paul wasn't "let go"

    He walked away.

    True story.

  • INCREDIBLE !!! What else can one say.

  • I literally cannot listen to any Tool song without having chills run down my spine and arms, and that's after 15 years of listening to them.

Words cannot describe Tool to someone who has never heard them.

  • Comment removed

  • Everyone should stop and salute from, 4:45 till 5:45 of this song!!!!!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNY

  • DANNYS BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!:)

  • dany omfg you are my god !

  • miazga mega miazga omg next time i will be there !!!! pls come to poland one more time !

  • Fucking Gods!!!

  • hes got such a.....high voice..... and likes to....pause...alot

  • 15 years later this song still gives me chills everytime I hear it.

  • @rjp203

    Amen! God Bless Tool.

  • Justin Bieber must have gotten on here and hit dislike because the awesome power of Tool made him quake in his stone washed skinny jeans ...

  • "cleansing i've endured"

  • Awsome band

  • orgasm 2:37.... guitar is awesome

  • Danny's sticks are probably made of stainless steel... I wonder how they take such a beating

  • Wow Danny drumming at the end of the song. Truly awesome. He is putting all his strenght into those strikes. A drummer that really gets into and physically feels what he is playing. Love it.

  • I'm telling you now, There will never be another band like this again! Tool is "One of a Kind"!

  • call me crazy, but i like the tone of JC's musicman better than the Wal he uses now. the one person who disliked this is a mindless troll.

  • so powerful

  • lol crowd surfing at a tool concert is..lame?

  • Justin Bieber: I was sent here by god to play music.

Danny Carey: Huh, I didn't send anyone.

  • @ghast352 awesome quote bro

  • TOOL IS THE GREATEST BAND LIVING RIGHT NOW.... but even the great adam jones fucks up at 3:04

  • @sdubbbb really? I thought it was at 2:48

  • 3:00 - 3:02 This is what I call an explosion.

  • it doesnt matter how much i listen to TOOL it just gets better and better every time i listen to them

  • Maynard- "we're not polished on this shit yet so you get the worst show"

    Crowd- "YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

tool worst bests every others bands best

  • 2 bad ass... seeing this stuff makes me sad tho cuz Maynard's vocals have taken a toll and he doesnt sound like this anymore. Still the best singer IMO but the Maynard of 96' has no equal ever

  • ugh.. the musical vibe of 90's rock... i miss it.

  • @adibella893 Yea, 90s were a decent decade for music. Now, we've got "Hip-Pop" and the endless slew of green day / blink 182 and all their cloned bands whining about their puppy dog romances, et cetera. Playing my own music is more satisfying than listening to the FM radio , and I'm not even a working musician...

  • i guess one person just didnt like his dancing

  • Very rare to see Maynard at the front of the band!

  • @howya45 I dunno you did a lot in their early days, during the undertow tour especially.

  • @annotfatlump Thats true actually. These days they put a huge perspective on the music and visual effects which is frickin awesome...

  • Sick as fuck man

  • @TotalyC09 or a cookie

  • 6:20 i think adams drunk hahah

  • god damn maynard is fucking awesome... sings just like in the cd...

  • always been a great live band.

  • he has evolved into necromorph form!

  • This is a perfect bootleg! Awesome shit!!!

  • holy shit justin looks young

  • they need to make a new album, but so does rage and primus

  • @bojanks15 Funny. I saw Rage, Tool, and Primus all at the same show back in '93. Alice in Chains headlined.

  • @magneteye thats tight as fuck

  • @bojanks15 was just in the right placer, right time. I miss all the great music of the 90's... WTF is wrong with today's rock? It is fucking garbage.

  • @magneteye thats why i listen to a lot of jam bands now like moe or umphreys mcgee, there are lots of good ones and its the best shit to see live nowadays

  • @magneteye yea todays bands are just in it for their money. you can tell there shit.

  • @magneteye Epic

  • no time for apperance or stage presence when pure talent and soul is pouring out. shame i will never hear anything like this on the radio.

  • Danny scares me sometimes.

  • they all are so awkward on stage like what is maynards dancing lol im sorry Tool is amazin and everythin but his stage presence is pretty awkward

  • @getcrazycrunk its not about the dance, it is about the music. close your eyes and go on a journey, man.

  • @magneteye I know the music. I first saw TOOL 2 times back in 1993. then again on every album tour since then.

  • man, what i would give to see them at the glass house

  • did Danny have Mandala pads at the time?

  • @TheToolMan09 not that i know of.

  • Funny, he says it's not polished and it the worse of the tour. Haha! These are too good.

  • Whoa thats crazy I use to live in Pomona :D

  • So much energy at 4:30. Maynard and Danny were sucked in, I just really wish Adam would of showed it a little more...

  • Adam always is like that - no surprise there. Adds to the great mix of members - all equally talented in their own right.

  • danny the best carrey...

  • Maynard is a very under-rated vocalist. He sounds as good/better than the album. That's so very VERY rare.

  • Maynard is the best. The passion and pain in his movements and the the torture and angst in his vocals... best to be experienced not just listened too.

  • @cableguy1740

    lol

  • Maynard moved pretty funny but his vocals sounded amazing in this show

  • i dont think justin has cut his hair since he joined the band

  • i wanna hear the best version of the tour... being this the worst .... jaja

  • Everyone in this band is talented...but Danny really makes this band

  • There is no other frontman/lyricistl quite like Maynard !

  • Jungian. Discover your shadow

  • go fuck urself Just99171-ur a jonas bros-cocksucking faggot

  • Greatest band ever-wouldn't it be brilliant if they did a "back to basics" club tour like this for the next album? I can dream......

  • it would sell out so quickly, but yeah i wish i could see them in a club.

  • OKAY, mr bigshot, then who do you listen too?

  • Yeah, a band that rose itself up through talent not through appearance is grossly overrated. That is truly some bullshit.

  • @BillHicksPsilocybin The fans kinda overrate them though...

  • fuckin idiot

  • something about this band, they are god like in thier splendor, its beyond words really what the music they bleed does to my soul, i love when something makes you think. imo tool is a musicians band.

its worth reiterating here that if you dont listen to tool you probably dont listen to real music, and thats your misfortune. thanks for everything brothers, we have been on they recieveing end for awhile and apperciate all you have given us.

    que the niegh sayers...

  • woohoo-got tix to the grand prarie TX show 7-25-09-hello hydro

  • tool and radiohead changed my life.

  • My two favorite bands s well...

  • LOL My three favorite bands are tool radiohead and the white stripes. we are brothers

  • exact same here

  • Possibly the best drum solo ever!

  • and one of the coolest bass intros along with schism

  • this would have been a once in a lifetime concert from all the clips i've seen

  • the drum solo + the end of the song = indescribable.

emotion expressed through music in it's finest.

  • the best live preformance ever

  • I love Justin's tone in this performance.

  • my fave tool song

  • forty six chromosomes and two struggling personas

  • damn danny rules!

  • get the camera on adam! Lol!

  • Videos like this remind me why I think Tool is one the best bands ever.

  • THE best band ever, I'd say...

  • danny carey lisen to his DRUMMING at 5:10 to 5:50 or to the end of the song "speechless"

  • oh yeah really rocking!

  • @mfa88 HOLY SHIT!!!

  • wow he said possibly the worst show of the tour one of the best i ve heard

  • woow they're really awesome live:)

  • is that Justin or not-Justin on the bass?

  • 1996, probably not.

  • That is Justin on bass. That's when he joined the band and in another video from this venue Maynard says "That's Justin everyone".

  • Dude, you have a lot good videos of Tool!!! Thanks!

  • I will die for this show

  • i have a copy, in its entirety.

  • what do i need to do to get you to send me a copy?

  • danny carey=god at drums

  • danny the king

  • Such an awesome ending.

  • i thought they were at there peak in the 90's. wish i could have seen one of those shows. but hey, the o7 everet performance was just great.

  • ..gees, compare to what they look and sound like NOW (..after that "10 years"..), in this video they look like one of those "tool-tribute" bands that grow like mashrooms after rain these days.. it's like tool covering TOOL ...hahahaa.. on a serious note(!) though, Maynard sounded really awesome back in 96, very emotional and true! I wish I saw them live back then!.. then again, I'll just go see one of those tributes I guess..hahaa

  • best performance of this song ive seen yet and if i were a betting man id say theres a correlative relation between the quality of the circa mid 90s performances and the fact that it was well the mid 90s i hate to say it but these guys are getting to old to do it like this

  • yeah im with you there. time is getting the better of their energy i think. still making awesome music though. notice how now day bands dont even make meaningful music like this? shame isn't it that the true rockers are from the 90's and nothing has come close since.

  • live and raw,...Is there a live video of this earlier than this one?

  • the best song on aenima. but track 5 on my aenima CD skips FUCK

  • i agree

  • also, shit at the end there it sounds like they go into lateralus...? probably not I guess though....

  • are they with paul d'amour there...? or is justin with no hair??? I thought Justin was in by this point?

  • yea its justin, hes got the musicman stingray he had before he bought the Wal, thats how you can tell :)

  • he's got the devil horns. you can see it at certain points. there's also another video of the same show where maynard says "this is justin," as it was the first show with him.

  • Intense drum solo by Danny Carey! Amazing! I love Tool!

  • damn i think im growing another chromosome here

  • damn that's awesome!

  • great comment. (Thumbs Up)

  • wow

  • wow

  • is this the glass house?

  • How about you read the 'about this video' section first.

  • wow did it really offend u that i asked that question? ya i saw the description seconds after i wrote that.

  • I wasn't offended. Sorry, I should have put : ) at the end of that reply comment.

  • I saw them on this tour. Man I wish I could go back and see that show again.

  • in psychology.. the shadow represents the evil side of a person,,,its from carl jung...

  • a part of the unconscious mind consisting of repressed weaknesses, shortcomings, and instincts

  • a part of the unconscious mind consisting of repressed weaknesses, shortcomings, and instincts

  • in psychology the shadow represents the evil side of each of us...

  • my 46 chromosomes are exploding due to this dynamic performance...

  • christ, danny carey is fucking amazing.

  • maynard needs to just not wear shoes ever when performing.

  • great videos... thanks for posting!
