Eh, I beg to differ. Not only is Zelda practically non-existant in this game, but of the precious few scenes she has in this game, the majority have Link meeting up with her when he's a wolf. I'm no romance shipper, but the truth is that, 1.Ilia and Midna are the closest things to romance Link has had in a Zelda game. And 2.Zelda's role is minor. IMO it's befitting in that it opens way for a bunch of great, and more intricate characters that rock (i.e. Telma).
Everytime I see that scene I start to laugh. It's just so funny! I'll hope they let that scene in the game, I'm sure of it. This is the first Zelda where Link really shows his emotions! That's so funny, to bad he still can't talk... Nah, it doesn't matter, can't wait for twilight Princess!

Seriously I see no romance link enter and illia. It is a childrish and ugly moreover, he deserves really better. Princess zelda is the best!!!
