  • Kisses and a cuddle! How sweet.

  • well that wasnt akward..... lol

  • Lol I have 2 small birds and an African Grey.

The small birds used to mate all the time and then, a few weeks ago they layed 4 eggs. I believe 3 hatched on April 1st and the last one hatched a few days later.

So cool lol, my first time experiencing that kind of thing.

  • Very cute. Can you check out one of my video called "what behavior is this" and tell me if you see signs of my bird being sexual, he gets puffy and it seems like he mounts my BFs hand, dunno. :)

but its cute when your birds kiss at the end.

  • "Shhh I think someone's watching us"

"Don't worry chicky, I'll just put it in for a little bit"

"OK just for a little bit"

  • PERVERTS!!

  • So now i know what my bird have been trying to do to my hand lately!!! LOL, they are so cute together, i love when they kissed at the end!

  • Do they have a certain time to do that stuff?

  • Yes... morning, afternoon & evening

  • LOL!!!!

  • did they grow up together or did you introduce them as they got older. i love your birds. i have a meyers myself. be he is very noisy when you leave him in his room. he has a jugle gym and everything lots of toys. i don't understand him.

  • @selim741 they are flock creatures -- they need company, and you are their company. in the wild, if two bonded birds are separated, they call to each other. that is what he is doing -- calling to you, his bonded buddy.

people will often recommend to not get two birds because they will bond to each-other and ignore the human. not true--if he's a well-socialized bird, and it can reduce that particular kind of screaming.

he likes you and wants to be with you--can you keep him with you more?

  • Keep it g-rated here the kids are watchin jk

  • My cockatiels love that maneuver ;o)

I've never seen larger birds going at it though.

I have a question. I do think it is the male that makes the sounds but when I have "walked" in on my 'tiels I have heard two distinctly different chatters depending on which female he was courting that day. It made me think it might be the female since the sounds were different yet consistent. What do you think?

  • In this case it's the male making the noises...

  • Wow birdp*rn!!! So sweet to see them mate. Hope you get furtil eggs!!!
