Did you use some stop motion program? There's no other way 675 frames could be this smooth, but long. My pyraminx stop motion video was about 20 moves, and it used more frames than this (Or maybe slightly less) but mine isn't smooth at all!

Nope, just windows movie maker. You've got to take frames in between the moves (think I did 4 frames for one move), so it looks smoother...

You can use frame by frame to take the pictures, and export it as a movie. Just go to my profile, and watch my rubik's cube video. In the descrition there is a link to the site where I downloaded it. After exporting, I imported it into iMovie.
