No hes really this big in the movie. When ever I watch it and he stands next to a human character I'd always think to myself "Woah hes bigger than I thought he was."

This animatronic robot is entirely controlled by voice commands. He identifies certain words and responds to them appropriately based on what his programming is. At times he can be controlled via a remote control, but for this instance, he was operated entirely by the sounds around him, and by any interaction that he encountered. :) I have a friend who is an imaganeer.

No one controls him. He has sensors and is programed. If they used some of PUSH's programs, then it would be a lot better. But, of course, they must keep the focus of the movie and jeep WALL-E not extremely technological with a lot of motions/comments. After all, he does not know how to talk.

@th3thrilld3m0n Acctually i have seen the controls for him. there are two sticks, one for the movement and one for the head turning. everything else it controled by a computer. the animations, such as the yes, no, and eve, are on a list and can be executed. No operator? where are YOU getting your information?

He's definitely real. Walt Disney Imagineering can do some cool stuff nowadays. =) (Search for 'Lucky the Dinosaur'. He's a free-roaming, essentially free-thinking animatronic. (IE, he's not remote controlled, like WALL-E is.))

I loved the part in the interview - well, the whole interview actually :) - but especially where WallE is talkin' about Eve (from 2:12 to 2:30).

Although some of the elaborate moves are probably preset-animations, it's still great character they put in this little guy!

They finally showed this movie last week. It was a wonderful movie. First Pixar movie that made me all teary and emotional.

And wow! That's a pretty awesome real life Wall-E! Okay, so this Wall-E doesn't move as fast as in the movie but still great to see that they put so much effort in making it life size.

Of course we all have a different taste, but I think there's no comparison between Wall·e and South Park.

South Park is an animation with social topic, mixed up with a lot of sarcasm.

Wall·e is an animation with social topic, but mixed up with a sci-fi and romantic history.

Maybe you don't like romanticism. In fact I'm not romantic either, but I admit Wall·e is kinda charming. It's a very smart movie, maybe boring for you, but it doesn't mean it isn't worth to be watched, cuz it really is.
