We brought our son home from Vietnam nearly 2 years ago. We didn't choose a boy, but that was what we were expecting. I have heard many times that girls are 8x more adoptable. We LOVE our little boy and I dream of another. I would love many of the boys shown in this video. The question to me right now is WHERE to adopt from?
My husband and I have had a theory about this since we adopted our son 10 years ago from Russia. Women, in general, drive the adoption process and IF (in some cases a big IF) the husband is open to adoption he is much more likely to want to adopt a girl since a boy would not be his own progeny. Have no idea if this is true, but we think it make sense (at least to us!) Proud parents of two children adopted from Russia... one boy and one girl.
I was planning on adopting a boy anyway, but if there was ever any doubt in my mind this would have cleared it up immediately, I was almost in tears! Can I have all of them?! Lol
I am the proud Mom to two amazing boys adopted from Chongqing & Fuling China. I can not imagine life without my little men! Thank you LWB (who also saved one of my precious boys!) for putting together such an amazing video!!!
Amazing video! We brought our son home from Zhengzhou a year ago. His love of life and joy at being part of our family is a blessing to watch every day. I sincerely hope more families will open their hearts to adopting a boy.
Thank you for making this. I have often wondered why this was. We have a great little guy we adopted from Russia over 3 years ago, and we are SO in love with him. He is the sonshine of our lives.
Fantastic video!! I am the proud MaMa of an incredible boy (biased opinion I realize - lol!) from Shenzhen China, as well as proud aunt of two amazing boys originally from S. Korea. My oldest nephew is who inspired me to want to adopt almost exactly 13 years ago (this Saturday marks his 13th year in our family). I cannot imagine my life without my son and nephews. I am blessed.
Great video.

The video asks if it could be me? Unfortunately, it can't. Though, it would be me if I were "allowed" to adopt internationally.......so sad.
