Nice to see some early footage, especially when the song is a favorite. Love it when The Isaacs dig into traditional grass. Thanks so much for posting.
I just saw them play this morning at our church. I have to tell you there is something special about a warm Spring Sunday morning and listening to some gospel bluegrass to get one right with the world. Thank you Isaacs for making my pastor's birthday so special.
Joe IS the Isaacs! No question about it. I've seen him come out with them as a special guest in recent years to sing "Wondering Boy" and he brings the audience to their feet every time. I refuse to listen to them without him! Not to mention how great & down to earth he really is in person. God bless you Joe Isaacs!
In a small SW Ohio town, in a small Penticost church, sometime in the mid 1960's, Joe got on stage in front of a group of ppl for the first time and sang a few songs with a family friend. her name was Brenda McComas, my mom!
Love how John switches from Fiddle to guitar, but burns both of them up.
