  • Nice to see some early footage, especially when the song is a favorite. Love it when The Isaacs dig into traditional grass. Thanks so much for posting.

  • I remmember back in the early 80's, I had a cassette tape of Joe Isaacs & Sacred Bluegrass-- Randy Fox of the Primitive Quartet was with them--

  • I just saw them play this morning at our church. I have to tell you there is something special about a warm Spring Sunday morning and listening to some gospel bluegrass to get one right with the world. Thank you Isaacs for making my pastor's birthday so special.

  • Love The Isaacs, especially when they sing with their parents who started the group years ago, Joe and LIly Isaacs, The Sacred Bluegrass.

  • my dad and uncle ralph blaylock cut this in 1974. my fav song!! the isaaca nailed it!!

  • Joe IS the Isaacs! No question about it. I've seen him come out with them as a special guest in recent years to sing "Wondering Boy" and he brings the audience to their feet every time. I refuse to listen to them without him! Not to mention how great & down to earth he really is in person. God bless you Joe Isaacs!

  • In a small SW Ohio town, in a small Penticost church, sometime in the mid 1960's, Joe got on stage in front of a group of ppl for the first time and sang a few songs with a family friend. her name was Brenda McComas, my mom!

Loved soooo much when the Isaacs did grass.

  • My ALL TIME Favorite song!! GO JOE!!!! Thanks for posting!!!

  • Good stuff!!
