  • Peeta Peeta why do you think Katniss kissed him free willingly huh and its selfish how all of the sudden Gale just started liking Katniss right after Peeta came into her life its like if someone else likes Katniss and she is slipping away from Gale nobody can have her but Gale even though he knows he dosent really love her and he still knows that Peeta does really love her so to put all that together is that i Hate Gale!!

  • Cried reading My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I just got done reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and it is really good and I'm going to watch the Swedish and American film. But I should really recommend checking out one book: Th1rteen R3asons Why by Jay Asher. Really a hard topic to go through. BUT it is very VERY creative! Its a bit short. But bring tissues. It isn't easy go through.

  • :O u said pissed

  • i recommend the gideon trilogy by linda buckley-archer! it's amazing and deserves way more reginition, its too good!!!

  • You should read some more YA novels, depending on what genres you gravitate to more. I'm 22 and I love the deep cut novels, the adult novels, romance novels and YA novels. Sometimes they tend to be better than others because now-a-days, they're marketed for a bigger demographic AND a lot of authors are tuned in to the fact that their books could become movies.

  • do a review of the hunger games in one video

  • Is it just me or is the movie of the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo better than the movie (*gasp* such blasphemy lol). The book was just way too heavy on exposition for my liking. I felt that some background detail that could have been told in a paragraph went on unnecessarily for a page or two. The movie was to the point while still giving us a detailed look on the story and its characters.

  • mine does.

  • ★★★★★

  • I love this video! Could you please possibly do a book recomendation video for 12 year olds or teens? Also by the way...I'm subscribing!!!!

  • Harvesting the Heart is amazing! Its one of my favorites of hers!!

  • I read the hunger games loved it! i need new books to read lol

  • Itsnot called wendy, its Willow by Julia Hoban

  • WHY GALE

  • @HaleyShealy15 To be perfectly honest, I started shipping Katniss with Gale during Catching Fire and Mockingjay. I mean, I looooved Peeta especially in the first book but I just didn't think they ended up, like, really ended up together. Considering y'know. What. Happens. In. The. End. XD

  • wow! you are beautiful, and yes i like books :)

    I subbed !! :)

  • @CosmicReveries ok. i'll try to get around to them. Im currently on Stephen King's Night Shift, (awesome so far) then I might read The Apprentice by Tess Gerristsen, and then probably either Michael COnnelly's THe Reversal or Tom Clancy's Without Remorse. I dont know when I'll get to The Stand though it's freaking HUGE. But i will try to get around to the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I like mysteries.

  • mine always has a mini sale but once out of the blue moon there a uge book sale that goes on.

  • i had 80$ at coles book store and i came up with 4 books and i have 12$ left.

  • I really enjoyed the video and could not help but think you have studied the third Q

  • @MagnificentMarisa YEah that was a good book. I dd get scared now and then and that's usually hard with the lame ass comic relief they put into crime dramas. BUt yeah good book. i think i read that after i finished The Dead Zone or DAvid MOrrell's FIrst Blood. (Rambo, no vampires involved) JUrassic park is also scary in my opinion. I mean, velociraptors chasing and jumping on u andeating your intestnes while you're still alive? i got chills. And the end, oh my God.

  • A THOusand Apologies for making this SOOOO long. But I also write and i was wondering if you would ever be intersted in something i wrote. I wrote a short story less than a year ago about corrupt Boston cops who get harresed by a mysterious faceless blackmailer who claims to know of their recent sins. He goes by Big_bad_wolf. I had so much fun writing this short, but it's only my first draft. over 10,500 words. if you're interested if u have time i'd like to send it to you. sorry once again.

  • @codename617 No, thank you SO MUCH! honestly, a lot of times I don't respond to comment on old videos, but I saw this one, and I had to! haha Thank you so much for all of the recommendations.

  • @beautybudget88 No sweat. I hope you get around to reading some of these great books. And please let me know if you'd like to see my short story. It's been almost a year since i finished it. It was the quickest thing i wrote since my middle school halloween story. And i hope you put up more videos about books to reconmend to read. maybe I'll read a few more and suggest more. I could never make a video with myself.

  • good. He wrote a book called The Poet, about a a serial killer killing dpressed Homicide investigators. He writes the Harry Bosch series about an LAPD detective. There are more about Mikey Haller aka Lincoln Lawyer. Ian Fleming was the awesome Spook who invested 007 in '53's CAsino ROyale. THere's also Dennis Lehane and his PI's Kenzie & Genarro. Really gritty. MYstic Ruver, so far so good, im reading right now. Linda BArnes and Tess Gerritsen are also really good mystery writers, tess is darker

  • like. First Blood by David Morrell showed Rambo in a way the second and third movies ignored. Rambo is this kid who just gets in a pushing contest with a small town cop. then push comes to shove and Rambo gets violent. I strongly reconmend this as well as Micheal Crichton's Jurassic Park. Great details about technology and the biological science, you almost believe it's possible. It's my favorite. Micheal Connelly write really good mysteries. YOu might've seen The LIncoln Lawyer, which is really

  • Kiling families very brutally. Will, whose a family man is sorta semi-forced by Crawford to join the case. The serial killer, who you will find out early, is a cleft-lipped muscular man named Francis Dolarhyde who has issues with his grandmother and an obsession with William Blake's painting of "The Great Red Dragon And The Woman Clothed In The Sun." And its first adaptation, re-titled Manhunter starring William Peterson was a good movie.

Also i like to reconmend some of my favorites you might

  • Ok, this might be long. very long. I like your video. I like reading and i also like to write. I haven't really read the Girl with the... series, but they sound interesting. I have read Silence Of The Lambs a while back and it was awesome. I like it better than Hannibal, which I do recconmend strongly even though i hate the ending. But most definately read Red Dragon by THomas Harris. It introduces Hannibal Lector and FBI agent Will Graham, Crawford's protege. He goes after a serial killer whose

  • 2:17 It's true, sadly :( I love going to Borders! There is one next to a CVS i kinda worked at in downtown Boston. I wish i had gone there often. THere were still some cds and books i wanted. Amazon is just not the same. It is sooo sad seeing all the border's close down in and around boston. I just hope that Barnes & Nobles won't go out of business soon. At least not until something as good as border's comes along. I refuse to drop my paperbacks for kindle's or similar devices.

  • Anyone seen any video reviews or read any online reviews about the e-book

April Curran Meets the Vampire of Crimson Cove High School?

  • Okay well I'm suppose to read this book called eyes of a stranger for my Avid thingy and i don't even know what it's talking about. And I have to finish the book and take a test on it on Tuesday!!! Please help me!

  • Borders is going out of business. but i think the lady said you can still buy from borders online or something

  • Borders is going out of business :( It makes me so sad. I didn't know there was a used section though! I thought that was just with Barnes and Noble! Thanks for telling me! I would love a review on Hunger Games. I haven't read them yet, but have heard so many good things. Also I want that notebook for books to buy! I may take one of my old journals and do that!

  • So happy you filmed this as I was going to email you for some good book recommendations! Going to be checking out some of the books you mentioned x

  • @KatieElisabeth21 yay! this was perfect timing then! I'm also reading a new book called "Before I go to Sleep" by S.J. Watson. I have a feeling you would really like it :)

  • Really enjoyed this. I can't wait to finally finish my MBA & then have some time to actually read lots!

  • @starflykiwi yessss! I'm ready a new book called "Before I Go To Sleep" by S.J. Watson. It is FANTASTIC!

  • I really didn't like the last hunger games book, like many other people. I somehow found it really rushed but I guess it wasn't the rest final book to a series. This is a bit odd but it kind of reminds me of 1984 by Geroge Orwell in a way. Haha, now that it's summer, I've been only reading books that involve absoloutely no thinking like the Pretty Little Liars series.

  • @exquisiteallure I actually haven't read 1984 even though I've been meaning to for years. Do you think I'd like it? Oh, and I liked Mockingjay a lot, but I agree. I though it started out slow and then the second half was rushed.

  • @beautybudget88 Well, 1984 is a bit slow and it's more of what you get out of the book. The actual content of the book is a bit dulling but I liked the themes and the motives of the book. I definetly recommend it even just for knowledge but it's not a fun book to read, i read it for school.

  • @giantcookiejar aww I'm sorry. My biggest tip is to read right before bed. That way you can usually get in at least about 15 minutes :)

  • Ohh. And from your taste in books I suggest you read the series by Neil Shusterman, Everlost, Everwild, and Everfound.

  • @redpanda441 Thanks so much! I'll go look into those x

  • Hunger Games was one of the best series I've ever read. Lots of meaning behind it and stuff. But I was Team Peeta!:DD

  • @redpanda441 I just finished it last night. I want another book SO BADLY! GAH!

  • I like reading Junie B. Jones, but it is for elementary students. I still really enjoy it though.

  • @BrittSoung4 I used to love those! :D

  • i really really really miss reading the books i WANT to read. i havent been able to because all i have time to read is text books for english and history hw :( even right now during the summer im reading a book about war that im forced to read for an AP english class with 30+ page assignments :'( when will teachers give me a break and let me read books i WANT to read! :(

  • @lindayy95 I'm so sorry. Those AP classes do suck, but in the end, they are completely worth it. I am kind of glad to find out that I wasn't the only one who has summer homework though :P

  • I was trying to look for the used books thing on borders and i couldnt find it anywhere. Was there a specific part of the page you could click on to find it? thanks!

  • @love4allthings the easiest way is to just go to google and type in "borders used." I think it's called borders marketplace.

  • you rock!!!

  • @TheElona100 haha thanks :P

  • I have to read Zeitoun by Dave Eggers for college. It is about a Muslim family dealing w Hurricane Katrina. One of my fav books of all time is The Handmaid's Tale. It is really dark and makes one think about our society. It is about America turning into a theocracy and women losing all rights. My overview probably made it sound bad, but you should read it!!

  • @maddiesexyk I think Handmaid's Tale is one I had heard about and was thinking about reading, so thanks for reminding me. It definitely sounds like one that I would enjoy!

  • I'm the exact same way with you on buying/ renting books.

Oh, The Hunger Games, love all books except for one of them. I'm a Gale supporter too, always have been, always will be! I really don't like Peeta, and for some reason, I'm not surprised that you're a Gale supporter xD You should consider reading Divergent, if you haven't already, I really liked it and it's the same genre as The Hunger Games.

  • @SaveMePlease985 Did you not like the second? That's the one that I would say I liked least, but I steal enjoyed it. I just finished the third book, and I didn't want it to end :'O I will definitely look into Divergent. Thanks!

  • @beautybudget88

Actually, I reallly didn't enjoy Mockingjay. But I get way too intense when I rant about that book, so we'll just leave it at that ;)

  • I love seeing video's like this! I've read the hunger games, but definitely want to start reading the girl with the dragon tattoo series, as I've just watched the Swedish movies:) Another great video, Katie!

  • @GirlsJustWannaBeGlam Thanks! I hope you enjoy them! The first one is of the girl with the dragon tattoo series is SO HARD to get into, but in the end it's worth it.

  • I'm in love with the Harlequin series. Or well.. It's a publishing company, not a series. But it publishes bestsellers and they're awesome. For example The Last Noel by.. Heather Graham. And the Cat Dupree books by Sharon Sala are really good too.

  • @kellyx12 I'm getting so excited reading all of these book recommendations! I'm making a big list, and then I'm going to go check them all out. Thanks!

  • @kellyx12 I'm getting so excited reading all of these book recommendations! I'm making a big list, and then I'm going to go check them all out. Thanks!

  • i'm about to get The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo book and the other's in the series.. i saw the original movies and i CAN NOT WAIT to see the American remake. the movies were so amazing and I've heard amazing things about the book's too.

  • @smbled21 I know! I can't wait! Especially as Daniel Craig will be playing Michael ;) hubbuh hubbuh!

  • You might want to check out Black, from the circle trilogy. It's and adult book. The first is black, then red, then white.

  • @mrsrosehathaway Thanks for letting me know! I'll add it to my books and look into it :)

  • AHHHHHH HUNGER GAMES <3

  • @taylorswiftfann033 I just finished Mockingjay. Why is there not another book??? :'O

  • Hunger Games ftw! ^-^

  • @AuraAngel16 I'm so upset that I've finished the books... *goes to re-read them*

  • I would love to see 3 separate videos for The Hunger Games. I'm sort of torn on whether or not I want to read the series :)

  • @LosersAreCooler48 Thanks for letting me know :) I'll think about it!
