I have the dry install for my galaxy s2 and while my first attempt wasnt 100% perfect i was able to salvage it and still use it, note it comes with 2 shields so if you fail you get another shield.

@MGApcPro yes gorrila glass is awesome for drops its more like sands, dirts and coins and keys that are likely to scratch it a tiny bit. You may not notice it but they are prob there, as for the cases i like it to make it more "bulky" in my hand, a hair to thin without a case, plus the case I have has a built in kickstand which is nice for netflix usage or other movies, and youtube videos if i ever need to keep sane.

I wear fanny packs when I'm on vacation. There is no way I won't look like a tourist anyway, and I usually have to carry things with me. Also I'm usually in a warm area, so using the pockets in my coat or pants is less of an option.

For screen protectors, some people are lucky enough (if you're cheap or poor) to have Daisos around, not the best choice, but in a pinch they're usually $1.50 each.

@noggan yes there r many 3rd party vendors that offer less expensive batteries however u must take into account that the G.N. battery also houses the NFC CHIP that enables the beam feature as well as google wallet . If u do find something less than the $24.99 price I paid from verizn for 2100 m.a.h. ext bat please share . Every penny counts .
