The motorcycle cop should not have pulled in behind him like that as if to block him in - clearly the bike would not stand up to the car if he decided to reverse, as demonstrated.

Even so, the guy was a looney to back in to him like that and i'm glad he was apprehended.

I agree that a more powerful weapon was needed here to allow the police to break in to the car, but shooting the man dead would be inappropriate.

I recently had to film a scene on TAGGART a police drama where a car had to get trashed. Those windows just wouldnt break either. You need to use a sharp heavy object to do it, so that all the force of the hit goes on to one small point. The batons police carry arent designed that way. ps a lot of the comments just arent worth responding too...

That was not a minor offence, he almost killed the motorcycle cop, that authorizes deadly force. When you drive your car at some one without regard for their life you deserve to be shot. They should have shot out his windows instead of using their batons.

God damn learn how to use caps lock responsibly. The motorcycle cop is lucky he didnt get injured, he could have been killed. This wasent a minor offence, he was using his car as a weapon.

The police didnt have enough force to stop him and it escalated. The criminal could have been stopped faster if the police would have had pistols with them, they didnt so the criminal kept putting people in danger.
