If something were to happen to you and you couldn't defend yourself, then the first people you'd call would be the cops. Some cops will make your life a living hell by bashing your brains into the pavement because they THOUGHT you were smoking weed. Others will actually do their job correctly and be the difference between you getting home safely or in a casket. Don't bash all cops. Just don't. There's not justice in it for you or them.
All Cops are assholes because their training dictates that they be assholes torwards the general population. It may not be the person behind the badge thats messed, its the training their given thats messed up. This is what happens when you live in a POLICE STATE.
Their training is militant in nature, and focused on close combat and life or death decisions in the blink of an eye. The problem is the person behind the training. When they get into the job they get that shiny badge and in their mind they are automatically better than everyone else. They should be given a term of 2 years, and then be forced to retire from all types of law enforcement work permanently. They should also be executed for killing any citizen, there are ALWAYS non lethal options.
