  • I remember this classic like yesterday. It sure was cheesy. But that's why it worked. Simple & original. No hit records or song snippets. Just an original song that's cool & sells the candies effectively! I am an 80's Nabisco fanatic! NA BIS CO! DING!!!

  • I believe before nabisco owned them, Butterfinger and Baby Ruth were made from the Curtis candy company out of Chicago.

  • this is before they sold butterfinger and baby ruth to nestle

  • homer wants baby ruth bart wants butterfinger

  • Yeah, they were originally made by Nabisco, an American company. Nowadays they're made by Nestle, an European company... damn Europeans... buying out our most valuable assets... ;)

  • Don't hold your breath man, As of the time of my writing this comment The Anheuser Busch Company, that's right people the folks who gave you the Great American King of Beers BUD-wise-ER (remember that ad?) has accepted to be aquired by the Belgian company IMBEV. America is fading Take me back to the Reagan (A real Republican) years anyday. as the Kid From Brooklyn says "The world's comin' to an end!"

  • Yeah, I read the news about InBev acquiring Anheuser-Busch... that's just depressing. And then I read about the possibility of GM and Chrysler filing for bankruptcy by late-2009 and I felt like hanging myself. Yes, my friend, with gas prices supposed to reach the 5-dollar-mark by the end of the year and the dollar losing stregth before all other currencies I can tell you I have lost all my hope. All I can do now is look back to those times in which Reagan was president and pretend I'm in 1984...

  • I wish it were 84 too!
