@MrConfused That song was a collaboration with A.T.R. on the Spawn soundtrack (1997). That song sampled from a previous ATR song from on their 1995 Release 'Burn,Berlin Burn!' (NOT Slayer)
This song (the opening riff and tune at least) was used in the 1990 David Lynch film "Wild At Heart". Which was obviously years before this alleged "Slayer sample" that you are talking about from 1997.
You have the internet, please, for the love of God, make use of it.
Yoooo just droping by to show love and to let you know a bit about the LETHAL MCZ. We're an up and coming hip hop movement from Miami. We just droped a new remix to Onyx - Last Days called "Final Dayz feat. Marlimar". Open your ears for our 2 cents and let us know what you think. Subscribe and comment WITH feed back. Much Love and God Bless
Holy shit, they did! I'm a huge David Lynch fan, and while watching Wild at Heart (it was years after its original release) I heard "the song", and I knew it right away. I was driving myself mad, going through every Metallica, Pantera, Maiden album I could find.
Now I know where I knew it from: A.T.R. And now I know it in its original content. I view this video at least once a week now, haha. That's awesome!
Hey jeff it's gena's brother chad.was surprised to learn that powermad has been jammin again in 08. Very cool. Oh yea that's definately your speed. Just how i remembered ya back in the much missed 80's. Good luck and i'll try to catch your next show that's here in the twin cities.Peace
No, it's a song called Slaughterhouse from the group Powermad. The video seen here is from the DVD release of Horror Pain Gore Death: Volume 2. It's a fan made video.
These guys were awesome! 'saw em live at a now defunct club on Laclede's Landing in St. Louis called Phurst Rock. Absolute Power was one of the top ten metal albums ever, in my opinion.
Does anyone remember seeing this band shown live performing the 1st few mins of this track on the great David Lynch classic film 'Wild At Heart' with the awesome Nic Cage banging his head off to it? Shame he didn't add it onto the soundtrack of 'Ghost Rider' also! ; )
THIS VID. KILLS !!!!
