For any wondering, for whatever reason Disneyland has brought this amazing firework show back. I don't know how long it'll last but I hope they continue to bring it back time to time. I could care less why it's back, I'm just happy it's back.
Haha! Thank you sooo much for posting! I was staying at the Disney Hotel and I watched the show from my room while playing this on my iPod :) thanks -3
In my opinion, no one is better than GFF. Absolutely the best firework shows in modern history. You can see them on Vimeo. A few of my favorites are below (hmm youtube won't let me post vimeo links... here are the video numbers, just punch these in to the search bar at Vimeo dot com)
I miss this one so much. I wish they'd bring it back. I know it ran for so long, and that it was for the 50th anniversary, but it's really a timeless show.
@Lindzsanity Yeah I was there just yesterday after not hearing fireworks for a loong time and I was really disappointed. But I read Wikipedia that this plays every Winter until Spring so good that they didn't completely axe it
@SaddlebredArabian95 Yes, they have! I'm 26 year old, and I saw that in Oct/10 and I can tell you that was the most amazing firework show in my whole life!
Im 16 years old, sophomore in high school and I recently came back from a trip to Disneyland. This was my first time ever at any Disney park and I was very excited. And to be honest I almost cried while seeing this :) I love Disneyland!!
@yonz2nugget Ah that must be great, I have a friend that goes virtually every time he gets the chance (even if school is still on). Must be great haha :D

Budget in Spring 2011 "The Second Scene" church magazine (Houston, Texas).
this is the most expensive fireworks show disney has done. $32,000. but by far the coolest. sadly they got rid of the Frontierland stuff and the flamethrowers.. =/
Everytime i hear Peterpan Wish it alwasy bring back so many great memories :]] cant wait to go back in about a month yay :]] hopefully they'll be playing this!!!
@lexielovesyou35 I've heard that they stopped showing this. It was for the 50th anniversary celebration 6 years ago. Best firework show ever imo, nothing I will see ever, will beat this one. They had shown it for awhile longer. Last time I went though, it was a different one. It had the same idea, with music from just the classic movies if I remember correctly. But it wasn't as good as this. Sadly haven't been in about a year =( So i can't be sure!
@Picklesthedrummer7 Ahh that makes sense then because I can only go during the summer or holidays. Yeah it's really my favorite firework show that I have ever seen there. It's a bummer I'm going to WDW during that time this year instead, I would love to see it again.
@jish55 I have no idea what you mean by that. Both places are great. Disneyworld is not commercialized, just because they have more hotels doesn't mean they're too commercialized. It's a bigger place! Walt Disney wanted it to be an improvement of Disneyland. It might not have ended up like that, but still.
i'm sad they took out the flamethrowers.. for a while it seemed only temporary but then they put fireworks in their place D: now i know its for good. the flamethrowers are friggin amazing! still the best show there is.
@DelilahJo3 yeah they took them out in about april or may. they now have fireworks to replace them. its pretty pathetic really. the indiana jones part isnt nearly as intense now.
@DJKaneHtownshuffler Disneyland may be smaller than Disney World, but Disneyland actually has the most things to do in one park of any of the Disney parks in the world. :)
Walt Disney created the perfect haven where it became a place for people of all kinds to share in a few hours to forget our worries and frustrations and to live in the moments and create memories with loved ones, a place where u could never forget what had occured or how special those moments meant to you.
I remember at 7:26 when they do the haunted mansion bit...they shoot off fireworks that circle around you, just like the actual ride. Everyone was like "WTF!?!?!" It was amazing
I try not to get teary eyed at 4:06. Walt Disney did it...he created something we would all love in the generations ahead. We fall in love with them.. Thank You Walt! Walt and Disneyland will live forever!
13:55 - The scientist (Paul Frees) says "Can I possibly survive?" This line came from Adventure Thru Inner Space and not the Submarine Voyage. There's a guy in the crowd here that yells "That's 'cuz you're under the sea!" I guess he missed the atom projections on the castle, or never heard of the ride that came before Star Tours.
The projected ducks on the castle during the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad/Davy Crockett sequence represent two things: 1) the ducks, geese, and swans that usually inhabit the castle moat, and 2) standard targets in any shooting gallery, hence the ricochet sound effects and the explosions on the castle.
I also like how perfectly the castle reacts to other parts of the show, for example the Star Wars lasers or the submarine klaxon on the second-highest spire.
This was a great show, it highlights all the cool stuff I remember as a kid. The little stuff, like the Shooting Gallery, the voice that says "remain seated please", the People Mover and much much more. I hope my kids will remember it like this when they get older.
Disneyland is an anti-depressant for me. Whenever I feel like I can't stand life anymore, I take a trip to Disneyland and I feel sooooo good inside. This fireworks show always brings me to tears of joy ;) It's so beautiful =) I always have a good time in the park. Disney is the BEST!!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥
I remeber being there 4 years ago and yes when i set foot into that place i was 5 years old again having the most fun i ever had for whole week and wished it never ended and i remember seeing this on the last night when i was there what a trip to remeber and yes DREAMS DO COME TRUE=0)
I am 21 (going on 22), and each time I watch the fireworks, fantasmic, or anything else at Disneyland, it always gives me goosebumps...Disneyland never gets old, no matter how old you are!
Love the show and this video is great. Thanks for posting. I do want to plead that Disney allow the audience to sit during the show. It would allow everyone to see. The little ones have a hard time seeing the castle unless they are right up front
Cant wait to go back this october! :) brothers 21st birthday :). To bad this wont be playin while im down there. And ThePanhead091 ill agree with you on that :) it truly is a special place to be probably everyday of the year :)

Disneyland I mean Disney in general knows what they are doing. I swear everytime i go to Dineyland and watch the fireworks i get goosebumps all over. It truly is the happiest place on earth
Thank you so much for posting this! It was very well edited.
I live in Orlando so i get the opportunity to watch "Wishes" at Magic Kingdom quite often, but it's NOTHING in comparison to "Remember...Dreams Come True".
I grew up in Southern California and have been going to Disneyland since before I can remember. This fireworks show perfectly sums up the beauty, history and nostalgia that is Disneyland!
I can never get enough of that place! I love it so much!! I've been there 5 times. The best part about it is that you can act like a total kid and nobody seems to mind. I went in this May for 5 days. Every day that I went, me and my friends skipped out of Disneyland every night. It truly is the happiest place on earth. Disney is the reason why I'm stil able to be a kid.. even though i'm 16 years old. I'll never ever get tired of Disneyland. It's a really magical place. :)
@Jalexfan111 im 13 too and i do miss it so much!!!! and yes i do wish i could live there....even when i am older i will keep going to disneyland and i will always be a kid at heart when i go!!!
i just went yesterday and saw this show it was epic some of the things i didnt see like Tink flying i am thinking that it was because of where we were standing and the fact that there were a few tall people standing in front of me and some with kids on there shoulder idk i still LOVED IT i want 2 go again and i'm 20 make me feel like a kid again. :D
We saw one of these light shows at Disneyland a few months ago, our Boss's took us as a gift (me and some lucky friends work at a Haunt) and seeing this right in front of the castle, we almost cried. :]
little unknown fact Tinkerbell used to fly over the castle after it first opened but stopped after the actress that did it got drunk and refused to come down off the matterhorn lol
@Bitch272 I'm not sure. . . I would hope so, but the figure on the Tink my brother and I saw one night was not very feminine. But that was only one night. Maybe the real lady playing Tink got sick last minute or something and they could only get a man to do it that night? I have no clue.
Working in Disneyland can get hectic at times, but something about the magic especially coming from this firework show alone makes it all worth it. <3
I never went to disneyland as a child and had feared that I would never get to go. When I met my now fiance he decided he would change that. This is the first fireworks show that I saw when we were there. I definitely cried a few happy silent tears. Dreams DO come true, and walt disney is an amazing man!!!
i really want to go to disneyland it is amazing with all the huge theme parks and fireworks shows i really want to go and the fireworks show was amazing who doesn't like disneyland
I love this place soooooooooooooooooooooo much! (but not as much as my mommy) :). I'm going in March! And hopefully California Adventure too! yayy I love my home state :D theres no other like it!!!!!
When they said Disneyland is the Happiest Place On Earth, they weren't kidding. I swear, each time You set foot in that park, You seriously feel like You're a kid again. There is DEFINATELY something about Disneyland. I miss it soooooo much. :(
if you listen closely you can hear people reciting the songs and stuff in the background :D

This place, really just makes me miss the old days, and believe, when I leave, Im stress free.

i just went yesterday and saw this show it was epic some of the things i didnt see like Tink flying i am thinking that it was because of where we were standing and the fact that there were a few tall people standing in front of me and some with kids on there shoulder idk i still LOVED IT i want 2 go again and i'm 20 make me feel like a kid again. :D

We saw one of these light shows at Disneyland a few months ago, our Boss's took us as a gift (me and some lucky friends work at a Haunt) and seeing this right in front of the castle, we almost cried. :]

little unknown fact Tinkerbell used to fly over the castle after it first opened but stopped after the actress that did it got drunk and refused to come down off the matterhorn lol
charmingone25 1 year ago
@charmingone25 Tinkerbell still flies over the castle. The one you speak of may have been fired, but Tink still flies.

@DelilahJo3 To my understanding Tink is still played by a female... correct?
Bitch272 1 year ago
