I was just wondering whether the frets are organized after Meragis treatise, or are they modern persian???
I liked the interpretation of the beste, even though I found the taksim a little inconclusive (it might need a little more direction, eg. I dont think it is very wise to show the low Nisabur so extensively and also a little more melodic lining would be nice (think in Tetra- and Pentachords!!!), otherwise it is just a lineup of the notes contained in the makam Rast). Yet, congrats
Please correct the name: "Abdülkabir" must be "Abdülkadir".

That was a very nice take on a famous composition. I also got to hear the lafta. Well done!
