I always uses AKM 74m best gun in every STALKER game!

It's reliable it's light, ammo is common, sniper scope, grenade launcher detachable.

And best of all it's upgradeable in Clear the Sky and Call of Pripyat!

I prefer to stick with 5.56x45 NATO, mainly because I can hold more rounds of 5.56 and it's not worth it - I go for headshots so bullet type doesn't matter. Plus, I have my pimped-out AK74 to fire 7.62 ammo :D
