I love this Mario game but it was pretty strange (also cool in some ways), but this world was inside of a giant Mario robot, and the boss was the 3 Little Pigs (what). You gotta give it to the game that it was pretty darn unique and creative though, the newer Mario games seem to be taking a more defined style now.
