Rimmel's Magnifier worked for me...i actually LOVE it!! It is actually a really good mascara..Maybe you dont put it on well enough because there is a technique to putting one mascara

i had the blue rimmel mascara and i find the wand is far to hard and hurts like hell my eyes are sore after i use it. i use the stila one at the min and thats the best ive found altough im always buying others just to test them. i liked the bourjois theater one (the old one with the double end) and that is brilliant but not water proof but i dont mind xx

I also bought the Magnifier mascara. I am so mad that I bought it, even though it was on sale. It is one of the most horrible mascara's I have ever gotten. I also bought their make-up remover which claims it removes waterproof mascara, it did no remove even my eyeshadow. I swear I am NEVER buying Rimmel cosmetics. Their eyeshadows do not even work.

I got Rimmel LashMAXXX I have the blue one which is waterproof and I agree it was rubbish! My lashes didnt look any different. I also had the Rimmel Magnifier but I had the red one. My brush was messed up on one side all the brissles were flat. The mascara was very runny, I would put it on and then i would do something else and the mascara would be all the top of my eye lids! I also have the maybeline define a lash I have it in green. I loved it my lashes were longer and seperated!

i have the manifier, but the regular one. i really like it. it keeps my lashes seperated and each lash gets coated. maybe just the waterproof sucks

This was very well thoguht out and informative. I was just at the store and was deciding between the Rimmel or the Maybelline. I went with the Maybelline!!! I almost bought the green one, but decided I prefered volume to length. L'Oreal has been clumpy 4me lately. Thanks so much for this! Now I know Rimmel one is crap. Loooove the eyeliners though! i got the maybeline pink one recently and love it, but i agree it doesnt really volumise the lashes. but it separates them well and gives them a nice curl. whats the difference between this one and the green one? might try that one next!

The Pink one is supposed to give more volume than the Green one. I like the green one better just cause it makes my lashes look longer. You should try it .. if you like the pink one you'll like the green one.

i bought the pink define-a-lash because of you and it works so well!!! im gonna have to try out the green one too! i also noticed that the rimmel brushes are really really like bendable and do feel like a comb. my glam eyes is that way too but it worked okay for me.

i love the define a lash oink tube so much i have gotten so many complements on my lashes .... and yea i had the blu rimmel and i hate it the brish hurts my eyelashes and it just looks horrible ... but i think ill try the green tube next:)

o0ow! by the way.. have you tryed Voluminous by Loreal?? i bought it in brown by mistake &nd loved it so bought it in carbon black. i like the brown better. the brush was just smaller. but i think you would like it cuz my lashsz are short, thin &nd straight &nd it really pumpsz the look! =D

I can't believe you had such a horrible time with these 2 mascaras - Rimmel mascaras are now the only ones I use and they make my lashes look stupendous! And I currently am using the Eye Magnifier and I find that it's perfect. It doesnt take long to dry and it doesnt clump - maybe the long drying time had something to do with yours being waterproof? I dont know...

I used Rimmel Glam Eyes and the Rimmel Lash Maxxx(the one you hated) and I love them. I haven't experienced any clumping and I get compliments on my super long lashes. Well I guess we'rre all different.

I prefer the green tube because I think my Lashes look a lot longer than the pink tube. The green tube also makes my lashes look natural. The pink one does give volume as it claims.

i completely agree with you about the rimmel lash maxxx mascara, it dries so quick and clumps, and flakes TERRIBLY.

And its very unbuildable too :(

However, my bottle looks a bit different, i think it's because mine is from Australia.

I used to use the super lash = the 2 dollar one. I worked great when I was younger and was buildable but now it's clumpy and it sucks. Maybe they changed the formula. And I tried one in a blue metallic tube that was a comb and it didn't dry or do anything. You are right... they suck. But I might try Lashblast coz I need to replace my Stila major lash and I'm not paying 22. I refuse. You look beautiful.

the pink mascara does suck i bought it last year and i threw it away....have u tried maybelline's Full 'N Soft mascara?? i really like that one...first i was using the green define-a-lash ...it worked and made my eyelashes longer but it would make clumps sometimes...the Full 'N Soft went on smoothly and it spreads out your lashes so it looks thicker and no clumps!! i really like it

Now I know everyone is different because I hate maybelline define-a-lash (the red/hotpink/magenta LOL and green one), the brush and formula are horrible! For me, they clump my eyelashes and they dont help my lashes at all.

My all time favorite is Lash Blast.

I agree with you I don't like either of those mascaras. But Keep the pink brush from the lash Maxx. Just wash it and it makes a really good eye lash comb. The only Rimmel that I like is the Glam Eyes--it works really well for me. I'll have to give define a lash a try.
