  • all this is good, but here are the negatives of an apple ipad :-

    1)in an ipad u cannot connect other devises like a flash drive etc.

    2) ipad doesn't support adobe flash. Maybe, first time we may think we don't need flash, but when we browse, many web pages don't open.

    3) finally, typing with an ipad is not easy.. it can be used for short meassage typings only...

    and also the accessories are costly

  • @22303mm it all depends on what you want. The graphics difference are only more noticeable in apps and games that have very high detail, with movies it isnt somthing that is noticed by an untrained eye. Although the Ipad 2 is great with facetime and the cameras, it is kind of pointless to get the ipad 2 if you arent going to regular all the new features that are added. I just bought an ipad 1st gen 64gb for 570 bucks inclduing tax simply because i dont need everything on the Ipad 2

  • @22303mm also, you are still able to use the same IOS that ipad 2 can use, the only different features you cant use with first gen ipad would be for the Ipad 2's camera.

    If you want to spend the extra cash for some more luxury, then get the Ipad 2. But first gen ipad now refurbished from the Apple Website is the best deal out there besides ebay.

  • i just got the ipad 2 and that thing they call a smart cover and i LOVE IT so much!!! my uncle works for apple so he got me a deal on the new one with wifi and 3g for verizon i got the black version of the it but it can come in white and the smart cover if don't know what it is look it up it's not even a case its really a display cover and there are 10 choices of colors!
