My friend and his brother(then later my cousin) would do these bumpers when they'd play around with their tape recorder and say "dutti" at the end. "After these messages, we'll be right back:DUTTI". "Dutti" in Punjabi means "shit". LOL

I miss these soo much! I've been showing these to my 5 and 7 year old sons and they love them! They didn't even know that back in the 80s they did claymation on tv. The ones that were the most memorable for me were the three singers that swap heads (EVERYBODY remembers that one) and the fire hydrant and the dog. My oldest one likes the one where the cowboy whistles and his horse falls on top of him.

I'm 30 and I remember when these ABC first started with these bumpers..lol. It was after a major revamp of their Saturday morning lineup. I think they had done a preview of the cartoons and everything that Friday. Back then ALL the major cartoons were on network TV so Sat. mornings were a big deal not only for us kids at the time but for advertisers.
