Hi Morearty, Thanks for your response. :-) By the way, Merry Christmas! We are playing a "backyard" version of the game. With us removing the "ball hit" rule, it lets the game be less combative. I learned the game with three more hits after going through a wicket, but we agreed on two for the challenge.
The "professional" version involves hitting two balls at the same time and the space within the wicket is very tight.
I can't believe I just learned how to play croquet from furries. XD
