Pixar should remake this with the latest graphics, as a short. i meant pixar, not apple. just for nostalgia. and to see how far technology has come since the days of 16 MHz 68020s
Thanks... but if you READ the description bro, it does not SAY that he made it as many many people have already pointed out here. Thanks though for checking it out!
@SLagerZahne Pixar was 1986...Lassetter had been at what would be Pixar since 1984.
I don't know when Andrew Stanton got to Pixar, but when he showed up at Pixar, he had "never touched a computer" before (according to the documentary "The Pixar Story")
Well, this video was made in 1988, so Pixar did exist. Pixar was the 3D effects maker of "Young Sherlock Holmes" in 1985, when was a part of ILM. And Lasseter have 3D videos older than this. But this is great (and very cute)
it wasnt the first one he made. that 1 would be the adventures of andre and walley b in 1984 when he was hired by lucas film to do the animation on it. luxo jr in 1986 then it was reds dream in 1987
And the computer looks like one of the ancient ones my aunt has in her garage. Doesn't work though, when I turn it on theres a blue screen, I think its supposed to teach you how to type or something, anyways, cute <33
What on earth does a pencil popping out of a mac have to do with macs sucking? I mean, honestly I agree they are a bit to simple for the advance geek but I am curious where you even got that train of thought?!?!?
I didn't say I had a problem with it, but thanks for thinking that, shows you know some people have a problem with other people telling their life stories, which is true.
I've grown up with Pixar being on commercials, Sesame Street, and finally, movies, but it's neat to go back even further than that. Thanks for sharing this.
The credits are probably the funniest part in this. "First aid?" Yeah, probably.
Made in 1988, huh? VERY impressive. I worked for Apple back in 1986 in Chicago, when the Mac was FIRST introduced. I had serial number 365! (Sold at a yard sale in the early 90's... DUMBASS!) Anyone remember NO HARDRIVE? I HATED switching disks all the time. This film works now... it was INCREDIBLE in 1988.
Wow! You worked at Apple!?!? How cool is THAT? Yeah man I remember those days for sure. My brother had an Apple IIC way back in the day. Had to switch floppies to go from program to program! Amazing how far we've come eh?
oh i did not know you knew that and yes you can change the tittle once posted click on edit video. and it will allow you to edit the video tittle and info

John Lasseter did not make this, he was a teacher of the students who made this. I't from 1988, Pixar is from 1982. Get your facts right bro.
