@666RiffsOfDeth666 I have heard that there was a semi-automatic box in early models that gave bother. I have recently bought a newer 150 petrol automatic. Preferred my old diesel to be honest.
Best city car if you got no money issues. I have an S350 and an A150 for the city. I've driven many cars in the past besides mercedes and i can assure you there is no comparison especially when refering to comfort and safety.
Why do we not get cool cars like this here in the states??? I'm tired of every "decent" car on every lot being bigger than my bedroom. (and that was a figure of speech for the dumb asses put there)
I can't believe how stupid these posters are who are putting down this vehicle. First, no matter the size, it's a Mercedes, which means it's safe, solid & has tons of safety behind it -see if Honda, Toyota or anyone else can match the safety record. Second, not everyone with money wants to drive a large or medium sized car. I know very wealthy people who love small cars like these because you can park them anywhere, their light & fun to drive, plus they are quality made. Think before you post!

what!! theres a smaller benz than the B class? mercedes is great, but Aclass and Bclass are nothing but mistakes. looks like a tata nano haha, or honda fit lol
...I strongly suggest you read something just "to know more" before posting. You can't compare an A-Class with a Nano or Fit, since the A was designed and developed almost 12 years ago, then your critic goes to Tata or Honda...
haha my bad, i didnt know. anyways B class is pretty small, i dont think we'll get the A class in america......yeah i cant compare a japanese or indian car with a car with history like mercedes benz...but all im saying is it reminds me of those cars, many ppl have the honda fits here, thats what it reminded of. anyways i know the A class is way better
Hi, it's ok. Actually Mercedes did a really risky move with the A-Class, and I think I understand what you said since, unlike every single previous car, it was a very (very) small, and let's say "cheap" car. Despite all this, it did pretty well in Europe and South America (I live in Argentina), where many of them were sold.
In the other hand, and here I agree with you, the B could have been larger, and I believe is a little bit overpriced, the opposite of the A.
yeah i was thinkin cause the Aclass was so small, lol...atleast it sold in europe. here ppl only buy the B class probably because its a cheap mercedes benz
poor men's benz. i understand if one buys a class because 'i love the desgin etc' but i dont understand if one buys it because it is 'mercedes benz'. these ppl can probably be satisfied if put a benz logo on a hyundai. totally pathetic but well, if people buy it out of the right reasons then gr8t!
This car failed the moose test

@Nightbird Dont care. there are many idiot and ignorant people in the world and unfortunately they are allowed to post in youtube.
Of course the a-class is 100 times better than its every competitor.

@parekh09 A class better than a fit?! I'm sorry but your sadly mistaken, look at consumer reviews and you'll see!

A class is absolutely a rip off. Avoid this car by any means, it's a total lemon.
eg. in order to change the starter motor you have to drop the engine..imagine the cost of labor !!!

Good review, they are nice little cars, interesting alternative to the BMW 1-series and Audi A3 which everyone seems to buy.
