The only obvious MISTAKE of the films -- The correct line IS "Get away from her you bitch." Randy.... the know-it-all-film-buff of the series... was wrong. And he made fun of Joshua Jackson while he was at it... WHAT A JERK MOUTH!

@MrMaccabiFanatic Scream 4 is incomparable to Scream 1; it's a poor imitation of the original. Scream 2 admittedly isn't as good as the first, but it's far better than the third, mainly because Randy is in it (for more than just a video appearance.)

2 and 3 was fine but not good as 1 and 4.

By definition, "Remakes" not sequels are inferior films. Because remakes always (almost) always forget the most important rule of remakes. "Don't fuck with the original!!!!"

@kitkatt24 @LukeMM95 The reason he says the wrong thing is because the other guy accidently stole Jamie Kennedy's line and said "get away from her, you bitch" so Jamie/Randy improvised and said "stay away from her, you bitch" to keep the scene going. Not sure why they didn't retake it, but still, it has been acknowledged and Randy was right in the script they were reading.

The first guy got the Aliens quote right, Randy was the one who misquoted it. It isn't "Stay away from her, you bitch" it IS "Get away from her, you bitch"

Godfather 2, Toy Story 3, Dark Knight, Empire Strikes Back, Star Trek II, Road Warrior, From Russia With Love AND Goldfinger, Kill Bill Vol. 2, and The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly. All better than the original films in their franchises.

@TarantinoDork GF2 arguable , DK yeah but batman begins sucked it carried on because of the franchise, bonds movie book franchise , good bad ugly isn't a true sequel after all lee van cleef plays the colonel in for a few dollar more . True sequel suck : because they weren't planned from the beginning and there's no idea at their genesis . Instead of I have an idea let's make a movie , it's I need a movie , let's find a idea . Producer got it backward .

@TarantinoDork empire and godfather are part of a trilogy doesn't count as a sequel but do agree that they are better and it comes down to the film itself sometimes sequals are bteer sometime nto like very rarely remakes are better just come down to teh film itself

its so weird watching this again a decade later. Sarah was buffy and Timothy Olyphant has had a series of movies in the 2000s.

on a side note, the first guy who dies in this film is Foreman from House M.D.

i haven't seen this in awhile. for my generation i would say that the Dark Knight is our generation's Godfather.

i don't think scream 2 surpassed its original, but it has its cool moments, its a decent sequel, good franchise, first scream is still the best :)
