How come it doesn't say i've done any pyro fire damage? I've earned a lot?

I've had the game for several years, my main class is Pyro,who I've clocked over 50 hours on, and I have every other pyro acheivment... and yet, I'm not even halfway through the Pyromancer acheivment. Do I suck?
